Your thoughts on Marcus calling his mum a mingebag.

I was pretty shocked, if i was his mum i'd slap him round the face. Then again he might pull the killer death move on me, or the flying kick of death or even worse; he might kill me with his eyebrow

SurferJay 20-08-2009 10:58 PM

it was horrible

ManicWolf 20-08-2009 10:58 PM

I thought it was hilarious. That's just Marcus' sense of humour, he clearly didn't mean it seriously.

Dolphin-and-Whale 20-08-2009 10:58 PM

He really doesn't care about anything

Vicky. 20-08-2009 10:58 PM

She will be used to it I would expect.

BIG-BRO-FAN 20-08-2009 10:59 PM

He called his 67-year old mother a mingebag :flower:

google 20-08-2009 10:59 PM

I know he was joking but its not funny i would never call my mum something like that especially not on tv :nono:

J-Rock 20-08-2009 10:59 PM

Hilarious (while at the same time, slightly cringey)! That's Marcus!

BitterFruit 20-08-2009 11:00 PM

I thought it was hilarious....
and she looked a good laugh on BBLB too

I think there is a deep affection there ...

Jordan. 20-08-2009 11:00 PM

It was funny :spin2:

merv 20-08-2009 11:01 PM

The fact she was there and interviewed on bblb shows the real relationship.
Might not be something i would say, but like his mum said"he is a naughty boy"

Patricia4 20-08-2009 11:02 PM

He is a naughty boy

BBmassive 20-08-2009 11:03 PM

I didnt expect much more from him if im honest ,he has no self respect ,never mind having any for his Mother

MaratSafinForever 20-08-2009 11:03 PM

Lol that made me cringe slightly. It was alright when she said he was a naughty baby. But then she was like, and he's a naughty man.

I was just sitting there going ok weirdo

google 20-08-2009 11:04 PM

Marcus has no respect for women

Brad. 20-08-2009 11:05 PM

I was a jokke people, as was the job one. Have you no sense of humour?

BJ 20-08-2009 11:06 PM

I thought he'd said early on in the show that he's never had any support or anyone to tell him what to do and he didn't talk to his mother much or have a good relationship with her and he didn't speak to his brother at all.

Marcus-FTW 20-08-2009 11:07 PM

lol sciving of work, poor woman should be retired at 67 lol

Unless her job is cleaning his dirty underwear

Of course there is.

Marcus is a "tough" guy and this is the way he shows it. I'm dead sure he is mummy's boy.

Yeah i agree. I thought it was funny, maybe a bit over the top. He defintley had funnier moments in the show.

naranja 20-08-2009 11:08 PM

I laughed out of shock, it was kind of amusing because it was obviously full of love, in a slightly deranged way, but i definitely thought 'wo-ho-ho-woah! that was disrespect!' I think Marcus's shut off point from dissing his mum to look cool when he was fifteen never got switched on, it was total teenage rebellion but it just looked unnesescary- c'mon now marcus! it was a tad too rude.

merv 20-08-2009 11:08 PM

He gave his Mum an home for god sake, not many do that these days, they bung em in retirement homes.
Many kids torment there parents, his are a little more extreme than average.

Sorry just asking. How come Tom is your favourite housemate of the series? I could have practically counted how many minuties he was in there.

I didn't really see enough of him for him to be classed as even a good housemate. I guess it makes more sense than when Steph was peoples favourites last year.

sukymac 20-08-2009 11:11 PM

sure marcus"s mother is well used to him by now.. if he cant talk to her like that i bet they have a really good relationship and a good laugh together

CrashDavis 20-08-2009 11:12 PM

It sounded like an affectionate term for his mam, nothing to get your knickers in a twist about.

Maybe his mum is helping him with the rent and washing his spunky underwear for him

I'm not getting my knickers in a twist. I thought i was making it clear that i wasn't against him saying it when i joked about him beating me up with his 'karate'

moonballoon 20-08-2009 11:15 PM

I liked his mum on BBLB, and they seem to get each other's sense of humour.

A month ago I would have thought what he said tonight was horrible, but now I'm a Marcus convert, I thought it was funny.

lmao!

nice try...we've seen that kind of move here before! ;)

SiCkBuLLeT 20-08-2009 11:21 PM

Here is the thread guys, for you fools who took it totaly the wrong way, he was joking around and i can see his mum laughing at this to.

You guys need to get a grip and see the real Marcus FFS

trasadkel 20-08-2009 11:22 PM

If I spoke about my mum like that she would be appalled. Marcus seems to have a big chip on his shoulder with regards to the way he talks to and about women.

Some of the terms he uses are ,quite frankly, sexist and dispicable.

I can understand how people find his one liners funny but how can anyone defend the way he acts and talks about women. He has no respect. If he wins BB what sort of message is this sending out to people and what sort of people are voting for him.

Well why did she say on BBLB that SHE lives with HIM...she made sure people didnt think it was the other way round
