Ha ha ha. I love when rodrigo goes off on one. Legendary. :dance2:

Mickey2009 20-08-2009 01:28 PM

The shopping list. A luxury budget. Eight hungry housemates. You'd think that would make for a gleeful combination, with all those empty bellies getting the chance to get filled. But, it seems, some of the housemates don't do their best work on an empty stomach. Huddled around the table, Marcus grappled with the price list as housemates shouted out what they needed, while Charlie attempted to keep tally on the chalkboard.

Getting a little impatient with the situation, Marcus sought to keep order. But Rodrigo clearly was feeling a little more fractious than most.

"I said I'd put it at the end," said Marcus as Rodrigo asked about some cereal.

"No, you said no," said Rodrigo.

"Shut up," said Marcus, not realising that those two little words were the verbal red flag to Rodrigo's inner raging bull.

"Don't you tell me to shut up!" spat Rodrigo, offended.

"I'm doing this and you're not," snapped Marcus.

"Don't tell me to shut up!" repeated Rodrigo.

"Well I just did so do it," came Marcus' diplomatic response.

"Idiot!" fumed Rodrigo. "Who do you think you are? Don't ever tell me to shut up. Ever. I'm being serious. Don't ever!"

Lisa tried to continue with the list and a smiling Siavash tried to calm things down with a "C'mon guys..." But it was no use. Rodrigo was off.

"Who are you to tell me to shut up?" he repeated over again, before concluding with a "Shut your face!"

Everything calmed down as Lisa and Siavsh giggled, but this only wound up Rodrigo more, who let fly once more.

"All of yous be quiet. I'm trying to do this," implored Charlie, looking puzzled over the chalkboard.

Then Rodrigo kicked off again while explaining to Lisa that Marcus had told him he couldn't have a certain cereal.

"Who is he to tell me? He's not my dad? He's not owner of the House?!" raged Rodrigo again, but occasionally holding back a smile as he looked up at Siavash and Lisa giggling.

"Please. I need to write things down," asked Charlie, looking like he was about to cry.

"You already said once now everyone is quiet," snapped Rodrigo.

"Oh come on Rod, I'm trying to do the maths," said Marcus.

Once again the scene calmed, with Rodrigo eventually marching off to the Bedroom, and Marcus once again assuming control of who gets what. Both as bad as each other? very probably.

yousoboo! 20-08-2009 01:30 PM

sounds like Marcus is bullying Rodrigo like he did to Sree.

arista 20-08-2009 01:31 PM

Shut UP

If I ever meet Gay Roddy
I will Shout "Shut UP"

MissKittyFantastico 20-08-2009 01:34 PM

Rodrigo and his little tantrums crack me up! :joker::joker::joker:

Mickey2009 20-08-2009 01:35 PM

He should learn how to respect his elders, hes very bitter for a child.

ElProximo 20-08-2009 01:40 PM

Marcus gets brave with young men under 120 lbs.
The funniest thing is that he actually is too scared to get into a real exchange with Rodrigo as Rodrigo would destroy him lol.

Oh Marcy.. the worlds wimpiest bully. He needs to **** and go sit down.

What a s*** post. you have marcus all wrong there

Patricia4 20-08-2009 01:44 PM

I love him when he's mad :laugh3:
When they all started laughing it was good.

trasadkel 20-08-2009 01:47 PM

As Roddy would say "How Rude" of Marcus to tell him to shut up. Love Roddy and how he is a little firecracker and is not scared of anyone.

Its probably swings and roundabouts as they say. I notice on the video Roddy was obviously upset about being told to shut up but couldn't help laughing again.

Love people that can see their own faults and laugh at them.

I do think that Marcus is far too self righteous and needs to realise that others should have a say in things as well.

InOne 20-08-2009 01:47 PM

"Shut up" seems to release the beast in Rodrigo.

Its a great post, your post is s***, you have got marcus all wrong, hes a bully and he seems to live by his own rules.

No problem if he breaks the rules and cost the HM, luxury food and put them up for nomination, so going by that rule he shouldn't really care for the shopping budget.

Marcus has done this before with Sree. He is an idiot who thinks that using physical, verbal and mental intimidation he can bully people less than him.

Doom 20-08-2009 01:50 PM

Rodcreepo really is a pathetic little tosser...displaying his double standards again. Yeah it's ok for that immature little brat to tell people to shut up but not ok the other way round huh.

I really can not stand the little arsehole!

Get him out!

My thoughts exactly !! Rodrigo and Sree both small men ... Mus=cus is VILE ,Rods got the bolox to tell him ,he wont take no $h1t off the idiot !! Good on you Roddy lad ":thumbs::thumbs:

The_Long_Run 20-08-2009 01:51 PM

Marcus compensates for his internalised poor self image by presenting a masquerade of false confidence. He displays this most aggressively against those least able to defend themselves. He can get very sheepish when someone stands up to him and the cracks show.

It must be a great effort for him. The technique of using apparently cool calm blocking of valid objections, as he did with Bea that famous night when she broke down is also bullying. WHO does he think he is, Big Brother?!!!!

Nigeria_Bob 20-08-2009 01:52 PM

Sounds like Rodrigo is bullying Marcus, like he did to Charlie.

Agree and full marks to Roddy. He is not scared of anyone. No matter who is in the wrong it is very rude and patronising to tell someone to shut up.

Full marks to Roddy for saying as much.

He is a coward and I do have it right. Clearly demonstrated by Marcy himself over and over again.
In theory I can prove it again by meeting up with him and telling him to '****' to his face. He will grumble something and sulk away and later tell his mates how I was lucky he didn't do this and that.
But,
He is a real big man tough-talker with 120 lb University students and slender immigrants.
Marcy = coward.

Oh come off it, Marcus never BULLIED Bea that night, he was just trying to tell her how her actions will have been perceived in the outside world, PLUS she started the whole thing and said some pretty vile things about his friend Freddie and about Marcus himself. No way was that bullying and she just broke down because he wasn't buying into her bullshit, that's all.

It really riles me when people play the bullying card when it's totally inappropriate.

Taijitu 20-08-2009 01:55 PM

At one point near the end there I thought karma was about to come back and bite Rodrigo on the bum.

Unlike Bea though I think he would have found the funnier side to it as he had to laugh himself.

Exactly and thats why I love Rod. He is the first one to admit he has a temper but it is soon forgotten and he laughs at himself.

biglover 20-08-2009 02:07 PM

HAHAHAHAHAHA go Rodrigo! put Marcus in his place, he has no authority over anyone! He lives with his mother for god sake, hes such a loser. Sophie/Roddy 4 the win!

No such thing as facts, only perspectives. Marcus set up the breakdown in Bea and Freddie's friendship by playing on Freddie's maleable suggestability. He insidiously dripped poison into Freddie's mind after Bea 'punked Marcus out' over the cigarettes that he purloined to employ as a manipulation tool. Bea demonstrated an insight into Marcus' character that frightened him, so he had to destroy her. He has done that. He cared not one ounce what harm he did to his supposed friend Freddie when he chose to use him as a weapon against Bea.

Marcus is bright, but it is a pity his emotional development didn't keep pace with his intellect.

Like his Mum said " he was a naughty baby, a naughty toddler, a naughty boy and now he's a naughty man" Never argue with a Mum's analysis of her son, she knows him best of all.

Rodrigo only goes off on one in front of everyone and for camera time get him out

BJ 20-08-2009 02:13 PM

I love Roddy's tantrums and the way he speaks up for himself to anyone.

I used to really enjoy the shopping list on LF. It always causes problems

Staceee 20-08-2009 02:18 PM

:laugh3:

Doom 20-08-2009 02:18 PM

He only acts like that because he's in a controlled environment and knows there's no chance that he'll come to any harm.

I very much doubt he has the balls to act like that in real life situations.

If rodders spoke to certain people like that in parts of Scotland there's a good chance he'd end up stabbed to death and dumped in a wheely bin.

On BBLB she said she lives with him which makes him a carer. If you think that makes him a loser then thats up to you.

Edit: For all we know there may be good reason why she needs to but unlike some in the house he doesnt come over as the type to milk that for all it is worth.

Just gie the wee runt a 'Glesca kiss',no need for a stabbin'.

The little boy really needs to grow up and start to act like a man....its nearly impossible to imagine thats hes 23 years old

How hes got through life so far having these tantrums im at a loss to understand other than lack of parental control

munky 20-08-2009 02:32 PM

Being a bit older than Marcus, I fully empathise with his reactions to Sree and Rodrigo. There is nothing worse than gobby uppity kids! They always have to have the last say and push the boundaries.

It's a simple task of doing a shopping list. Everyone will get what they want and everyone will have their input it just needs a little patience. Shows how immature Rodrigo is and what an ego problem Sree had with someone who will not take their crap.

sophiee1383 20-08-2009 02:33 PM

I Love Rodrigo :hello:

Im Voting Him Too Win
