...when a car alarm/house alarm goes off for ages and it's all you hear. :mad:

Annoying as hell.

Soooo annoying.... I live in a terraced house and last christmas someone went away a few doors away from me and there alarm was going off for nearly 24 hours and the sound was vibrating through the walls and air vents! :dazzler:

Oh my gosh it is infuriating. My nextdoor neighbor's place goes off and sometimes for hours at a time.

Thankfully I have earphones and a very long playlist.

But yea it should be a crime.

I get most annoyed at those alarms (the same noise those rape alarms make lol) go off, I dont know what theyre for but they annoy the fck out of me and last ages.

no one locks there doors here so they never go off

I like how everyone moans about it and no-one shows any concern whatsoever.

But, yeah. It really pisses me off too.

Haha yeah. Noone thinks, oh they might be out, I better have a look and see if someones breaking in or anything...

People are pretty good about it in my neighborhood, they shut off the car alarms pretty quickly. Sometimes i'm surprised how quickly they shut them off. The other night there was this big explosion, and it set off all the car alarms (i stil don't know what it was, i'm guessing some mexicans with fireworks), but yea, it was like 3am, and literally within the minute everyone had their car alarms shut off.

I actually specifically like it for some reason. :joker:

I hate the sound to start with but If I'm trying to sleep I find it calming :laugh:

Whilst watching tv or trying to concentrate though :mad:

I think I'm one of the rare few that do check out house alarms. Not car ones though

I like the sound for some reason -shrugs-

It's comforting to know that other people are up and about i find. That;'s why i could never live in a rural area, i need the sounds of the city. Silence freaks me out.

That same alarm is still going off 2 years later. :bored:

Ugh.. :bored: I hate it. Loud noises really unnerve me and I get really annoyed.

Somebody yesterday went outside and just revved their motorbike for ages and didn't even go out on it.

It's like, it you're being robbed, be bloody quiet about it :bored:

Round these rural parts it is animals that create a racket in the early hours.

Drives me mad, especially if it happens through the night and no one seems to take any notice anyway.

car alarms are a marketing ploy and not a security measure.
