Who is the most deserving winner? (Not a hate thread)

I've noticed recently that the entire 1st page of this forum has been inundated with hate threads, that are getting quite boring.
So, this thread's a bit different. I'd like to know what people think of all the remaining HMs, their good points, their bad points and who they think should be most deserving. If you want to discuss please join in, if you're here to spread hate, or spam, don't.

I'll go first as I am not really supporting anyone in this final.

Charlie's Good Points.
1. He has been amusing at times, re scaring people
2. His cheeky side can be at times endearing.

Charlie's Bad Points.
1. He has to be the centre of attention all the time.
2. He has been hypocritical a lot of times in the house.
3. He was part of the group that continually picked on Freddie near the start.
4. He continually brings up his mother as a reason for him to win.
5. He seems to continually try and push onto everyone that he's a nice guy.
6. He can say some nasty jibes at other HMS then try and hide it as a joke.

David's Good Points.
1. Seems like a nice fella, would probably talk to anyone.
2. He's funny, but not on purpose, he's just funny by his actions and his big voice.
3. He hasn't deliberately tried to annoy or upset anyone while in the house.

David's Bad Points
1. He got smothered and controlled by Lisa quite early on, so we didn't really get to see the real him I don't think.
2. His fake laugh that he adopted last week
3. Telling the HMs he didn't know he was going to nominate after blatantly telling Lisa outside he was.
4. Comes across as attention seeking quite a lot.

Rodrigo's Good Points.
1. He seems to have a respect for his dwellings, RE looking after the house.
2. It is nice to see someone so vocal about liking England.
3. He has been quite fun to watch when paired up with Sophie.
4. Seems quite caring at times if someone's upset.
5. Will stand for what he believes in no matter against who.

Rodrigo's Bad Points.
1. His temper is out of control.
2. If he doesn't get his own way he does seem to throw the toys out of the pram.
3. He comes across as very controlling and opinionated.

Siavash's Good Points.
1. He has played the game a bit differently to previous HMs which is refreshing.
2. He is very laid back which I like.
3. He hasn't been constantly backstabbing people etc.
4. He gave up his clothes for £10k when they area major physical aspect of his character.
5. He hasn't deliberately set out to annoy or upset anyone while in the house.

Siavash's Bad Points.
1. He cheated on his GF while in the house.
2. He can sometimes come across as a little attention seeking.
3. Has been slightly obsessed by nominations.

Sophie's Good Points.
1. She seems really bubbly and could be fun to be around.
2. She's not taking things too seriously in the house.
3. She showed a lot of backbone to vocally support Siavash when he was being ganged up on by her friends. Gained a lot of my respect that night.
4. Hasn't been parading her body around the house, ie hasn't been stripping off at every opportunity. Pleasant surprise.
5. Hasn't tried to deliberately annoy or upset anyone while in the house.

Sophie's Bad Points.
1. She was a bit of a sheep in the 1st half of the series, siding with whatever Kris, Karly, Lisa and Charlie said.
2. she comes across as quite bitchy sometimes behind others back.
3. She really can't hold her alcohol and I got the feeling it was put on a lot.
4. She stole Marcus's cans after being told not to touch them.

From the HMs we have left, I honestly think the only person deserving of winning BB is infact Siavash, mainly from the point of view that he has been on the biggest emotional journey within the house, has been slightly different to previous HMs and has been genuinely nice to the rest of the house.
The rest haven't really done anything to deserve winning in my honest objective opinion.

These are only my opinions (sorry it's long)
What do you guys think?

Vicky. 04-09-2009 12:42 AM

Very well thought out post, thought you know that this will decend into a siavash hate thread now dont you? You cant say his name without this happening.

I agree with every point you made, which is very strange in a post so long. I even agree that i want siavash to win, and for the exact reasons you wrote. This is quite scary...are you my secret twin?

I'm just sick to death of readin hate threads and nobody actually acknowledging the HMs good and bad points. Thought it'd be interesting to hear everyone's actual opinions on all the remaining HMs.
(PS really didn't realise it was soooo long, sorry:blush2:)

MiuMiu 04-09-2009 12:45 AM

Am.
This is a hard one.
I don't think anyone deserves it out of this bunch.
But if I was pushed, I'd say Sophie or David, because they have never changed while in the house.

Thats something I have noticed this year. People seem unable to see any faults in their favourites, and any good points in people who they dislike. Everyone has good and bad points, everyone is human.

Except for me...Im perfect, but I am really a robot :laugh:

keithafc 04-09-2009 12:47 AM

I think Sophie or David as well.

Siavash doesn't deserve to win at all. He's lied a good amount of times now in the house, i don't think he is being REAL. His DR stunt came across as a bit fake and put on. Do you honestly think he was going to leave? What nonsense. Two days before Friday? Let's get real. It's a 100k on the line here. Nearly all of them could of walked a few days ago with that DR stunt but decided not to.

MissKittyFantastico 04-09-2009 12:49 AM

Really well thought out and written post.

And I agree with your assessment of all the remaining HM's, they do all have redeeming qualities as I was saying on here last night.

I also want Siavash to win, I don't for one minute think he will now, but I like the fact he has been on a real journey in the house, yes he's not perfect, but none of us are, and I do believe he is basically a genuine, nice guy, who just got too caught up in the game and that clashed somewhat with his morals, and wanting to do the right thing, so he ended up in a right pickle basically. I admire that he's not afraid to show his emotions, some may call that weak and attention seeking, but I don't see it like that at all.

Refreshing to see a post not filled with hate on here at the moment, and a well balanced view, coming from a neutral FM.

Good post

I agree with almost all the points you make.

I guess they all have characteristics which make them deserving, and they all have their flaws which may make them not so deserving.

At the end of the day, it depends on what your own personal values are and what personality traits you like/admire in another person.

For me, I admire individuality, intelligence, thinking for yourself, independence, thoughfulness, calmness, maturity and level-headedness. In my opinion, Siavash has displayed all these qualities and thats why I personally feel he is the most deserving.

I have already stated that I am a supporter of none of the remaining HMs, I just wanted a civilised discussion of all their good and BAD points. Just don't spread hate mate:thumbs:

I have left A LOT of bad points out from every HM. This was done deliberately as it is A LOT easier to see the bad in people. I am trying to get everyone to discuss THEIR own views on the remaining HMs good AND bad points. Feel free to give yours and then whatever conclusion you have reached from this. I'm genuinely interested to know:thumbs:

keithafc 04-09-2009 12:58 AM

Well that's the thing mate about BB. In order to get a winner for yourself, you pick between who you like and dislike and therefor pointing out some one's bad points is what it is all about. IMO they are bad points, some might disagree, that's fine.

I just think Sophie has been 100% for the whole show. Day 1 and hasn't changed a bit. Not a drastic change at all. I find far too many flaws in the rest since they have been in the house bar David but let's face it, he ain't going to win is he, just seems to lack the fanbase and did join after 44 days.

I think David could of stood a great chance had he joined on Day 1 because he seems dead on and is a nice person.

But for me overall as it stands, i would pick Sophie to win. Just been consistent all the way through.

Sophie will win.
I would rather siavash won because sophie has been a bit 2 faced and bitched about marcus too much for my liking.
Siavash has played the game and admits it and i like his honesty

i think the OP was a great post, well done

i'm not really following a particular hm right now either. i wish noirin had won!! lol

personally i would prob prefer david to win as i feel he really is the most genuine hm in there and the only one that actually wants to be there. he's so happy and proud of himself for getting to take part in the show, i don't think it bothers him not winning. he's put everything into every task and really shown respect for the show. they all should be as grateful as him to be given the chance of being on the show. his voice really annoys me though. i feel like i have to turn the volume down everytime he speaks!! lol

i also don't mind charlie at all and wouldn't mind him winning either. i don't think he's any more fake than the rest of the hm (apart from david) and he's had a hell of a lot of hate on the forums for pathetic reasons (the way he bites his nails for example:rolleyes: i don't think he's really done anything that bad to warrant the hate he's getting. yeah he can be moody and really childish, but everyone does. he's always been popular in the house and they all think he's fun. i think the reason a lot of people turned on him is because he was the favourite from early on, so people were waiting for the slightest thing to happen to knock him off the fave spot. what people need to remember is that he never put himself as the fave, the viewers did and the hm also said very early on that he'd prob win.

the only hm that i really don't want to win is siavash. i've never really warmed to him. i don't find him entertaining at all anymore and even when he was entertaining, the rest of the house have entertained me as much. i didn't like the way he would start to waffle on about something and stop midway through a sentence. i still can't understand half of what he says, it doesn't make sense!! and all that talking in riddles!! ARGH!! the thing that really got to me though was the non nominations. i just can't forgive him for starting all that. to me, it's ruined this series. people may argue that rules are there to be broken, but that's bull. we need rules so we know our boundaries. i know i'll prob be slated for being another 'anti siavash' fm but i don't care. i don't like him. i don't want him to win and it's my opinion.

Excellent points:thumbs:

I do agree with you on David, and I also think if David had've been in since the start, and not been smothered by Lisa he could've been a bigger character within the house. He does seem to genuinely appreciate being there which is refreshing.

I also agree with you on the whole No Nominating situation. I believe BB should've stamped it out after putting them all up once, then told him if he does it again he's thrown out, simple. I also think telling the HMs they could talk about the nominations ruined the viewing aspect, as it was always a surprise what they'd say.

As I said, and I know you said the same, I'm not supporting anyone for the final. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, much appreciated:flowers:

Ham 04-09-2009 02:10 AM

I`ll still go with sophie, ok i`ll admit i`ll win a few bob if she wins so i`m kinda biased but Siavash is to depressing and cheated on his gf, charlie is way to fake and attention seeking, rodders has`nt done too much and dave as sweet and genuine as he is.... still has`nt won me over

But sophie is so darn lovable and the freddie debagged stuff was my personal highlight of the whole series

Ham 04-09-2009 02:13 AM

I actually think dave is gonna be a shock 2nd, theres always one shock per year

But like most people i hope charlie goes first, my god it will be right up there with kathreyas :joker:

kellybsblover 04-09-2009 02:15 AM

Rodrigo has had my heart from the begining. I think he wants to win but is not willing to do anything for it. He has stood for his principles and morals no matter who disagreed with him or the circumstances he was in. The respect people laugh at him for having is something I really appreciate. He genuinly cares for the well being of those around him. One of the things I love about Rodrigo is that he is capable of admitting it when he is wrong or that he has weakness and he tries to work at it.

thanks :)

it's a shame david was disliked because of his friendship to lisa. i'd like to think that if he'd been in from the start he would have a bigger fanbase and a better chance of winning, but i think he prob would have been evicted a while ago. i think he would have annoyed the hm and been up for eviction quite a lot. he certainly would have been a bigger character, but i still think he would have befriended lisa. he genuinely liked her

i wish the rule breaking hadn't gotten so out of hand this year. bb should have clamped down on it from the start. but if you look through the threads and posts on this forum from the start, the fm have mostly applauded the rule breaking. i think bb were put in a difficult situation because of these viewers wanting all out chaos on the show. it's really sad. i'm not suprised bb have lost a lot of long term viewers. there are a lot of fm on here that go on about hm like lisa, charlie, sophie etc being 'protected' by bb throughout the series, when it was really their favourites (marcus, siavash) that have been protected. they would have been thrown out long ago on past bb for the way they have gone on.

anyway, rant over. :spin:

I also agree with you on the whole No Nominating situation. I believe BB should've stamped it out after putting them all up once, then told him if he does it again he's thrown out, simple. I also think telling the HMs they could talk about the nominations ruined the viewing aspect, as it was always a surprise what they'd say.

As I said, and I know you said the same, I'm not supporting anyone for the final. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, much appreciated:flowers:[/rquote]

thanks :)

it's a shame david was disliked because of his friendship to lisa. i'd like to think that if he'd been in from the start he would have a bigger fanbase and a better chance of winning, but i think he prob would have been evicted a while ago. i think he would have annoyed the hm and been up for eviction quite a lot. he certainly would have been a bigger character, but i still think he would have befriended lisa. he genuinely liked her

i wish the rule breaking hadn't gotten so out of hand this year. bb should have clamped down on it from the start. but if you look through the threads and posts on this forum from the start, the fm have mostly applauded the rule breaking. i think bb were put in a difficult situation because of these viewers wanting all out chaos on the show. it's really sad. i'm not suprised bb have lost a lot of long term viewers. there are a lot of fm on here that go on about hm like lisa, charlie, sophie etc being 'protected' by bb throughout the series, when it was really their favourites (marcus, siavash) that have been protected. they would have been thrown out long ago on past bb for the way they have gone on.

anyway, rant over. :spin:[/rquote]

It's good to rant sometimes, keeps you healthy:wink:
Yea, I agree, it's a shame there was so much rule breaking going on, partly BBs fault, party HMs fault.
I admit it was quite refreshing to see the likes of Marcus challenging BB, could've toned his language down somewhat as not many people get his humour, however I think BB needed to show the authority it once had in previous BBs RE nominating etc. and stick to it.

Actually, they should stop messing with nominations themselves, ie changing from evict to save, allowing them to talk about it etc. Totally demeans the purpose of having them in the first place I reckon.

Hey this ranting is catching:blush2:

Hey, you never told us earlier what you think, genuinely interested.

I think David. Hes a nice guy.

The other new housemates used 'what they knew' to try and get further, Bea and Tom inparticular. David took a big gamble by being friends with Lisa, but this has provided us with some comical moments. It would mean the most to him.

I honestly think David would've had more comical moments if he had've been out from under Lisa. I agree he's a nice guy though:thumbs:

[rquote=2534235&tid=146032&author=Viper29]I've noticed recently that the entire 1st page of this forum has been inundated with hate threads, that are getting quite boring.

[/rquote]

Finally a decent post, getting fed up of these hate threads,, i know all of Siavash faults but still want him to win..

bigbrothermad123 04-09-2009 08:48 AM

Sophie is the most deserving winner of BB10.
