Sophie Got 74.4% Against Siavash in the Final Vote ...
Interesting.
I'm guessing 2nd to 5th was tight on each call-in point, seems like it. EDIT: BBO release weighted %'s! http://www.bigbrotheronline.co.uk/bi...ted-by-bbo.htm Rodrigo 11% (5th Place) Charlie 13.2% (4th Place) David 14.4% (3rd Place) Siavash 15.7% (Runner-up) Sophie 45.7% (Winner) |
it i rember right roddy got 11% out of 5 charlie got 13.2% out of 5
david got 19% out of 3 |
She got the highest % to win on a normal series of BB!
2nd highest only behind Mark Owen who won with 77% |

david got 19% out of 3 [/rquote] If David got 19% out of 3, what do you think Siavash got? Can't be more than 25% IMO, unless Sophie just steam-rollered away afterwards. David had a legit shot at 2nd place, ROFL. |

Just seemed interesting, that 2nd to 5th could have been anything really. Pretty funny that Sophie won by a landslide, puts our money to waste, lol ... :spin2: |
I dont believe the percentages. I for one voted 100 times for Siavash so did many people i know voted for Siavash about that many times. Just doesnt make sense. Just dont get why would someone vote for a wanna be porn star, fake as she wanted a fake romance in the house, talked about agents and mag deals 24/7, shows her private parts for a living, for someone who wants to be Jade Goody and admiited the public kept her in because of her dumbness so used that all the way through. Look how relieved she was in the previous weeks when she got to stay. That shows she was sooooo desperate to stay and win and would have said and done anything to do so.
Well done the UK public for voting for someone who does immoral degrading demeaning things for a living. Am sure this is a good message to give espeacially to children. So well done. |
Once charlie was out I didnt care who won.
What happened to his thousands of fans who dont use forums?! |

Forums, polls, facebook, bookies ... can't rely on anything. Nobody thought David would get 3rd for example. I am so happy for him. :spin2: |

We have to trust the figures, I mean she was a massive favourite. |

Just glad siavash got 2nd place, despite BBs bias against him. Plus he seemed genuinely happy for Soph, as she has been his only friend in there since freddie. |

74.4% Against Siavash made me cry ttears of pure joy.

He's really not a likeable character IMO (and hers). My mum is Iranian and she absolutely despised him. I do think most of his votes come from younger people, not older. |
I was very happy Siavash and Sophie were final 2. It could of been any percentage

[/rquote] LOL, I was ringing for Sophie just to make sure, I think she did really pull away in the 40 mins the lines re-opened. 74.4% though, that's basically 3 in every 4 votes. Strong! |
she must have won by a large margin if bloody siavash came 2nd!!
how many people actually voted?? anywhere close to a million votes cast? |

Well done the UK public for voting for someone who does immoral degrading demeaning things for a living. Am sure this is a good message to give espeacially to children. So well done.[/rquote] "will somebody pleaseeee think of the children!" towards the end sophie became a lot more popular... most thought she was the best out of a very bad lot. more people started seeing siavash's real side...just search for other threads about him being selfish on davids birthday for example (i didnt see the episode its just what ive read). some, including myself, thought siavash was a bit fake and very overrated... seems that these views and opinions took huge effect as sophie won in the end. |
Excaliber - Don't know about you but I smell a rat to be honest. All the polls had Siavash and Sophie much closer, and he was higher on a lot of them. Thought last year was a "fix" and personally think the same this year!

Forums attract nerdier types, who tend to go for nerdier or more eccentric HMs. It's a niche, a small segment of all BB fans and voters. Mainstream public and voters, who don't bother with forums, much prefer Sophie. It's not about fixes, the forums are just off ... Freddie and Marcus were far more popular than Siavash on forums with huge fan bases. But they aren't popular with the general public. Outside of forums, they are disliked. On C4's BB site for example, both Fred and Marcus have under 50% ratings. Chavs, mainstream public, people outside forums ... like 'Sophie' types. |

Up until the lines closed for the first time voting would have been close for the top 2-3 if rodders got 11% for the 5,
Voting lines reopened, was the cumulative total kept or did the count start again(remember BB decides the way they are counted so long as the verifier agrees with the numbers given they havent done anything wrong) |

I still think Sophie had over 40% at that stage. But obviously in the 45 mins when it was her vs Vash, she pulled away more and more. Fans of others + Vash haters bumped it to 74.4% [quote]Voting lines reopened, was the cumulative total kept or did the count start again(remember BB decides the way they are counted so long as the verifier agrees with the numbers given they havent done anything wrong)[/rquote] They obviously keep their votes before the 40 mins where it's Sophie vs Vash. You can't win BB just by getting more votes in a 40 min period! It's a running total, you don't restart anything. That would be illegal, you'd be ditching people's votes up until that point. |

Wonderful stuff. So thankful that he didn't win. Sophie is not the greatest winner for me but anyone would have done in place of him.[/rquote] It's just because the final 5 were poor. I mean David got 3rd, probs close in % terms to Siavash. If David got 19% in the 3 way, what did Siavash get? I'd guess about 23-24%. Leaving Sophie with the other 56-57%. She then pulled away further to 74.4% against Siavash. |

Think it was a case of people making sure that a drip didn't win Big Brother. Well, I hope so anyway. |

Seems very high. Maybe she has a backer. It would be a good investment. However she did seem really surprised to win.

She didn't realise how fickle the public are, she believed that it would be hard to change their opinion after she was booed on entry. In reality, it only takes 1 or 2 HL shows to turn things completely around, ROFL. Fickle public. |

With David coming 3rd there mustn't have been much between them all. |

I wish they realised the figures, but they withhold them from public viewing due to embarassment! :joker: |
Im glad i ain't the only one to notice how boring Siavash is. How he beat Marcus is simply beyond me and will go down as one of the all time shocks in reality TV. He didn't deserve to be in the final. He kept playing the bloody game the whole way up until it was annouced who won with the whole you first, me 2nd thing.

They released that info via how much they gave to charity |
