They're seen as Gods by the whole indie "music is my life and I could never live without it" crowd

I agree but the times were different back then you had DURAN DURAN, Culture Club and that lot ruling the charts. Also remember The stone Roses Debut Didn't even break into the top ten but that's always seen as one of the best albums of all time.

yeah they ruin gigs for me :bored: most of these bands are working class bands and are singing about real things not about "Daddy bought me a house the other week". But they always be the ones who go to gigs with their fancy haircuts and clothes but look totally uncool cause they are trying too hard

Lol yeah, underrated is not something I would call Morrissey or the Smiths, but I'm very much a fan.

still a great band along with R.E.M and The go- betweens also the Replacements

He treated johnny mahr like crap and Andy rourke was kicked out of the band by Morrissey
