What makes a murderer a murderer? What initially makes them evil? No matter what answer you give, I could then argue "That's unfair, it's luck of the draw".

(Not arguing against your point, by the way, just showing how everything is basically luck of the draw).

Different things make different murderers, murderers I guess. Circumstances, up bringing, traumatic events,etc. but I don't think having no soul is one of them! But I could be wrong, I hope we all have souls but I just don't think we do

The big question is, which was first ? The soul or the body ? Does the body have a soul or does the soul have a body ?

I don't believe in a soul so I couldn't possibly answer that one Remy!!

All of those things could be luck of the draw though. So although I disagree with the soul-conscience theory - it's not just cos it's luck of the draw.

Btw, I think we do all have souls, but it's separate from conscience.

Call me a hopeless romantic if you want, but yes, I believe that we're all in possession of a soul.

Like I said, I do hope you're right! I would love if we all have souls and are going to live on somewhere after death and meet people close to us who have died etc. But I just don't think we do, I think it's something people like to believe so life doesn't seem pointless. It's not a nice thing to believe but I can't help feeling that to be the truth!

And yes, you're right, where or what situation a person is born into and experiences a person has in there life could also be put down to luck of the draw!

I think my idea of having a soul differs here because I don't assume that having one automatically connects us to God or Heaven or any of that stuff. My belief is that our souls are an energy or life force emanating within us that we share with every other living thing. It goes beyond the physical or the conscience..... on a different plain and connects us to whatever created us. Sounds like waffle but I believe it.

I do think that when you die, part of your soul stays on earth. I dont know what it would be, but thats just what i think.
