Is it wrong to not want your mum on Facebook?
 

I mean seriously, honestly and truly is it? :laugh: We love them but I think Facebook would be a bit much. I would have to censor some of the things I do on there.

I have my mum on facebook and sister, I hated it at first... but in a weird way it made me and my mum closer as I am more open with her with everything now.

Life is too short to keep secrets, especially between your mum. Me and my mum are really close... hence why she puts condoms on cucumbers for my youtube videos haha.

Got my mum on facebook, my auntie too.. so i do censor what i saw a bit.

Told my mum i loved her on fb though lol. Was nice, she was happy i said it on somthing that everyone i know can see lol.

I wouldn't mind my mum on facebook, but no-one else from my family.
I have both my sisters, their partners, their kids +my cousins, but they're on limited profile so they just see what I want them too.

I've got my brother and sisters, cousins and uncle and auntie on facebook but my mom doesn't use it, computers confuse her. I just act as normal though.

Not really. I get on really well with my mum so I think it's for the best if she doesn't add me on Facebook. :P

Yeah she came up to me and started seeing things linked to Tibb and everything. One which involved a Bridget Jones quote.. and it was rather dirty. I hadn't said it but another member did and she saw :bawling: LOL!

Thankfully my mom doesn't know about tibb, I'm dreading if she ever does find out.

Nope its not wrong, I defenitley see why people dont want their parents there, but for me, I get on well with them, my Mum hasnt got it, but if she did I would be a bit Ahh, but i wouldnt mind really if she has it.

Many of Dads cousins have it.... kind of annoying when I right a harsh status on my Dad :D, once a made a really harsh status update on my Dad after an argument, C word and everything, and my Dads cousin commented on it LOL.... thank God my Dad doesnt have it :)

Both my parents still can't text so I'm alright on the technology front,lol! I don't even have my brother on FB,just one of my counsins.

Everyone over the age of 16 seems to have Facebook so its not for older people at all ... just that there is a bigger age range on Facebook than Bebo

I used to have my mum on my Facebook but I had to quickly untag myself from certain pictures and censor status's/wall posts/things like that, it was too much hassle so I blocked and deleted her :joker:

I guess Facebook is popular in England as its mentioned in a few Songs by UK Artists,

But in Ireland Bebo seems to be a main thing, what annoyes me though is there is alot more chavs on it than there was this time last year :(

Man, I feel bad for you people that have parents on facebook. To me that would just be weird. My parents are older, and retired, so they are not interested in that kind of thing whatsoever.

FOr those who get googled by their parents, thats why you dont use your real name on forums, and things like that. Me, I have a system. I have a facebook account, with my real name and everything, which I keep clean. And any relative and things like that, can be my friends in those, and they can see everything. BUt then I have another account, if I want to do things, which I dont want close family to find out about, thats where I do it. MY friends know my real name, but its not the name on the account. ANd on forums, I never, ever use my name.

My mum added me but she goes on like twice a year lmfao

LOL. I have my mum, dad, step-mum, step-dad, 3 uncles, 2 aunties, even my nan.. on Facebook. I think I even have a couple of teachers. Lmfao
