I heard a rumour Boyzone would be playing in tribute to Stephen Gately. Stephen was a fan of the x factor. Suppose they can't sing "no matter what"

Completely agree on Kelly, thing is I don't think people over here have had chance to get her, all of Kelly's best performances that define her in america are on american shows. Like American Idol and stuff... I really want to see her give an amazing vocal performance over here, preferably on X Factor.
Thing is though is that she is touring America right now, and I doubt a new single will come out till after xmas, so there would be no point in her going on the show. Just bad timing really.

but thats the thing on 22nd novemeber (a sunday) the tour date has been canceled due to "schedule conflicts" she isnt anywhere on the saturday or the monday, plus Cry is due to be released mid november as her fourth single so im keeping my fingers crossed

She is performing at the American Music Awards, with a load of other American Idol stars. Which is obviously a big thing and not something to turn down but I seriously doubt she will be on the X Factor this year. 'Cry' isn't a confirmed single and if anything I think the next single will be 'If I Can't Have You' in January. It would be silly to release a new single when all the xmas songs are out.

Plus 'Cry' straight after 'Already Gone'? Doubt it.

Kelly Clarkson is not underated in the UK. Her singles do better here than the US.

Black Eyed Peas? Class act? First time I've heard those two in the same sentance. The Black Eyed Peas are about as classy as a sloppy joe.

I wouldn't mind seeing Pixie Lott perform, or The Saturdays, Calvin Harris or Snow Patrol.

And do you know, it's funny, but Leona Lewis has performed on The X Factor every year since 2006 :tongue: (including the year she first participated.)
