True haha but god knows, but does not seem as good these days, and rather corny and pointless!

Beastie 22-11-2009 04:39 PM

True that. Massive build up and nothing much happens on the day, and it goes really fast.

Go to Church next Sunday as it the first week in advent and they will be lighting a candle and reading from Luke (probably) starting the story of Christ's birth. That will get you into the true meaning of Christmas and not the marketing fake one that will leave you nothing but empty and disappointed inside.

Jesus is Christmas.

No I'm not into the whole christmas thing. I enjoy giving gifts, but the whole day is always an anti-climax and I don't like people feeling like they -have- to buy me a gift =.

MeMyselfAndI 22-11-2009 04:58 PM

Christmass time is so close:)

Beastie 22-11-2009 05:00 PM

I did get an advent calendar yesterday though! lol

InOne 22-11-2009 05:01 PM

Beastie 22-11-2009 05:01 PM

Yeah I remember when you used to get a bag of malteasers or something on Christmas day (later downgraded to xmas eve and then that turned into a normal chocolate) with 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 day(s) to go down the side!!

I'm 20 years old (apparently), I have a Spongebob one this year :dazzler:

Ross 22-11-2009 05:13 PM
