Alexandra or Leona?
 

This time last year people were saying how Alexandra will never be as successful as Leona etc ... but a year on Alexandra is doing well and Leona is starting to wear thin.

So who do you prefer?

Alexandra!

Alexandra. Her syle has surprised me and she is a lot more versatile than Leona is. A good mixture of ballads and uptempo songs is perfect, something which Leona seems unable to do.

Alex is going to fade away like Leona.

In a year, no one will care about her.
Which is good.

I met Leona, twice.
And shes stuck up and big headed.

In saying that Alexandra got stuck up and big headed in the middle of the show.
I hate them both.
But Alexandra is sorta fitt so i`ll give her that.

How long do you think Leona will last as a celebrity?

Shes starting to loose her fan base, its gotten abit old now.
Her songs arent that good anymore.

I could see her fading away in 2 years.

I wouldn't say Leona fading away, she's just done a soundtrack for a huge upcoming movie and a huge selling video game and she's still been doing great in the charts.

But I don't like either, probably Leona edges it for me.

If you take away the hype, she is 10 times a better singer than Alex. I have no doubt, and time will show it.
I dont think she should change her style, I think she should just sing, what she likes to sing. generic music, is coming to saturation, and the next generation, are gonna have to make it, with their voices. I think Leona will be around a lot longer.

I'm starting to think if Leona doesn't change her style for her third album then she's in trouble. I can't see the second single from Echo making the Top 5.

Leona is extremely overrated too. Her voice isn't as good as people make it out to be. She can belt yeah, but so could Brenda, Alexandra, Beverley etc.

Alex, in Leona's song "happy" a part of the song she sings seems like a cat is being dragged down a blackboard.

Leona. I agree with whoever posted about generic music dieing out.. Soon people are going to have to make it big with just their voices.. as people are becoming more aware of tours and less tolerant of miming. Just look at Pixie Lott for example.. She is an amazing singer and whereas she would not have made it in the business 10 years ago... she is one of the first in what will be a new generation of music being about the singing.

Saying that Alexandra is still my second favourite artist ever.

I like both, but Alex is more versatile. And I wish Leona would stop covering great songs - I love her covers [Oasis, Snow Patrol] but it makes morons go 'omg this song is gr8 beta than da original!'

Alexandra had a massive massive hit with "Bad Boys" whereas "Happy" flopped for Leona yet Echo has sold more than Overcome even though it was released later.Not to mention that Alexandra has been promoting her album like crazy and Leona's done no promotion.

Leona has better vocals, but she's getting really boring now tbh, whereas Alexandra isn't as boring.

I would have to say Alexandra; even though I've been a Leona fan for years, I'm just starting to get tired of the same old ballad time after time.

Leona has a beautiful voice but Alexandra seems to be more versatile so I really can't choose between them.
