Christmas 2009 -Fail
 

Anyone else have a boring or crap christmas?

It snowed, and had a good dinner so thats alright..

But my presents werent as good as previous years.
Heres some of the things I got:

Assasins Creed 2
Left 4 Dead 2
The Sabatoure
Ant and Decs book
Now 74
N Dubz: Against all odds
Die Hard DVDs
Scream Box Set
South Park Christmas DVD
South Park Series 5 Boxset
Flat Screen TV
Mobile
New Computer Monitor
New Computer Desk
Im A Celeb.. Wii Game
Family Fortunes Wii
And a few other things.

Now, looking at that list it does seem like alot.
But the presents my friends and family got me were like WTF!

I was giving out the wrapped presents to my family and in the space of 5 minutes..
My Brother had about 9 Presents and my Mum had about 12..
I had 4.

In the end I ended up with about 6, and they werent all that good.
So I was a little ****ed off at how unfair it was.

And then the things I did get, I havent been having much luck with them..

They either, Arent as good as I thought they would be, they dont work, they need batteries and stuff like that.


So out of all my 14 Christmas Days, I can safely say this was the shittest.

2009 is up there with 2007 as the most annoying and **** years for me, Nothing went right.

I got a few new clothes, chocolate, and £30 and I still think this is a great Christmas

Hold on a minute, you got all these presents and you find a way to complain ? Do you know there are some kids our there who have nothing to eat and who got nothing today yet they're happy if they get an orange ? I know I'm a spoilt brat but I'd never ever complain if I got all of this.

i agree with what's said, you coming across very ungrateful. most people would kill for them presents. a flat screen tv? games, a mobile, boxsets, a monitor and a desk? they are great presents :/

I got **** all, apart from a bit of money, and I didn't spend Christmas with my family. Appreciate what you're given.

I only got an iPod touch and I'm delighted with it. You seem really spoiled.
Only thing that was rubbish this Christmas is that my sister never visited. And the dinner nearly made me sick.

Hell, I remember my getting my Xbox 360 for Christmas, I gave my dad £100, because I didnt want him spending too much on me

I have only ever had one big present every few years, I would never dream of getting several games, a flat screen TV AND a mobile for Christmas, and if I did, I would be over the ****ing MOON

I remember my parents offering me a car 2 years ago. I almost had an heart attack. Every Christmas I'm getting angry at my parents, they offer me too much but I always thought I was lucky because some people out there are alone, sick or have nothing to offer to their children and it must be very hard to live with.

Like soem have said, I didn't get much (well, I did get money which makes up for it) but I'm still enjoying it.

You spoilt brat! I didn't get much this xmas, and I still felt I had too much, I got a few DVD's and a coffee gift set and then all the money I got I am giving too charity. You mate need to learn to grow up and get over yourself.

**** sake, i'm sure lots of tibb members got less presents then you, so shut the **** up and appreciate what you have. i'd be grateful if i got a new phone AND a tv for christmas, that's for sure.

Meh, I've not really been in the Christmas spirit this year. Only had two hours sleep last night so wasn't great. But then I got my new iPhone 3GS and some other small things. After that I pretty much started to feel knackered, before ill, borderline throwing up, then it was Christmas dinner, eat it all, and now I'm fine again. Definitely not as good as other years on the Christmas feeling side of things. But on the presents side, this is probably the most expensive year yet for me, even if I am having to pay some of it back.

You should be thankful for spending Christmas time with your family. It's not all about presents.

To the people who called me 'spoilt brat and ungrateful' Im not, I said thanks and that, but im just pissed off at how my ****ing brother got more than me and yet everyone in my family is acting like I Should be happy yet he got more than me.

And then just now while Eastenders was on I was looking at the back of his DVD cover and my mum said 'put that down you have your own' and then when he went to look at mine, Not a ****ing word was said.

Tbh, Im not poor and no one else on here is, so I think we should all **** up about poor people.

I'm a self-confessed spoilt brat too but it's the way you come across and show how unhappy you are while so many people are having nothing outside, nothing to eat, nowhere to sleep etc... Be careful about that.
At the end of the day, one of the kids will always have more than you. I know what you mean, my little sister had sometimes more but I dealt with it as I was happy with what I got.
It's not all about the presents, he may have gotten more than you but it doesn't mean he'll enjoy them more and will be happier in the future.
It's just one day, it won't change your life forever.

I'm not Mother Theresa either, I don't think about poor and disabled people every day but you have to know there is worse than you in the world. Some people need a reality check. I may say that because I've been in Russia to see what real poverty is (and trust me it's way harsher than you think) and where my roots are therefore I feel lucky to have something to eat everyday. But yet you're young so I'm not expecting you nor a lot of people here to understand.
You just need to know these things. I'm not saying we should all transform in Mother Theresa's or Peace Nobel Prize winners, but knowing what you have in life will always get you forward.
