Dead man wakes up under autopsy knife

http://www.zimbio.com/Carlos+Camejo/...+knife+Reuters

This is why I'd rather be cremated, or at least buried with my phone or something that could make a lot of noise.

ILoveTRW 29-12-2009 09:56 PM

i dont think you would be able to use your phone after you have been cremated

If I can't be cremated, then I'll be buried with it.

do you know what being cremated means ???

Jordan. 29-12-2009 10:08 PM

Creepy imagine doing the autopsy on someone you think is dead then they just wake up :joker:

*mazedsalv** 29-12-2009 10:14 PM

OMFG!!
That must have been petrifying!! This is why Im scared of death... being buried alive!!!

lily. 29-12-2009 10:16 PM

You should watch "The Serpent and The Rainbow". It's an old movie, but it creeped me out, cuz I have a buried-alive fear too.

Jords 29-12-2009 10:58 PM

That would be terrible, I have that fear too.

InOne 30-12-2009 12:03 AM

Yep, cremated is the best.

Patrick 30-12-2009 12:05 AM

HAHA

Imagine him waking up and the doctors all **** themselfs and the first thing the 'dead' guy does is look at the clock and jump up shouting 'OH **** IM MISSING EASTENDERS'

Stu 30-12-2009 12:05 AM

I have a huge fear of waking up in coffins too. Watching Kill Bill Vol. II didn't help.

It's so boring anyway when you think of all the creative things you can do with ashes. And everyone just plops down for a boring burial.

Mind you I never knew you could hear ringtones from a locked woden, padded box under six feet of dirt.

i will be cremated for sure - im chlostrophobic
couldnt stand it :bawling:

Stu 30-12-2009 12:09 AM

I would love for my ashes to be shot into space, which might be affordable once I'm dead. If not I'll settle for the ashed being mixed up with dope and smoked in a bong.

You'd use the phone to call someone and get help.

Would you get signal?

Patrick 30-12-2009 12:14 AM

I remember the episode of Eastenders which got alot of complaints ages ago where Tanya burried Max alive and he woke up scared and the episode was him trying to call someone for help but the phone went dead.

Felt terrible for him.

Just imagine how scary it would be, you'd be dieing for a drink or a packet of crisps or somthing.

Couldnt bare it, but then again if you were being cremated then what would you do if you woke up in the middle of a fire.
You know, so which is scarier?

Waking up under the ground?

Or waking up in the middle of flames?

Theres only one way to find out...
Nah im not even gona use my Harry Hill Pic this time, seems like a sad thread so i`ll leave it out.

You haven't thought this through, have you?

Patrick 30-12-2009 12:16 AM

Imagine walking through the grave yard on a cold day with your wife, because your grandad has just died and your walking through the Grave yard and suddnely you hear the Nokia Ringtone coming from under the ground!
:joker:

I can't imagine why anyone would randomly play music on their phone if they where buried alive.

That is really scary - and I think probably a secret fear a lot of us have. Agree with you on the rather be cremated thing.

The fact that you can't get signal on a mobile phone in a locked box six feet under the earth?

Captain.Remy 30-12-2009 09:17 AM

That's hot.

lily. 30-12-2009 11:54 AM

Kill Bill didn't help my fear either Stu.. :S

I'd **** myself if I heard the Nokia ringtone in the cemetery, but I'd **** myself more if I heard the big Dom Jolly voice yelling HELLLLLO from under the ground..haha

Spike 30-12-2009 11:56 AM

This is the kinda thing I fear and knowing my luck will probably happen to me
It must have been awful for the guy

lily. 30-12-2009 11:57 AM

This and being trapped under ice... worst fears..

Well what would you do if you woke up buried alive?

Tom 30-12-2009 01:17 PM

I won't wake up anyway so I don't care about buried alive

I'm being frozen then they're bringing me back to life when they've got a cure for whatever I died of

If that doesn't happen I'm on the organ donors list

You can where my nana is buried :joker:

We buried her with her mobile and we kept ringing it until it went off. It actually rung! If theres no signal it won't ring

They've dug people up and there have been claw marks etc on the lid of the coffin

In Victorian times they used to bury you with a piece of string attached to a bell, and someone would stay in the graveyard overnight. If someone rang the bell they're obviously still alive so they got dug up

I know. I wasn't being serious.

What would I really do? Slowly suffocate. Might muster up a last minuet sing song.

Well if your family had sense they'd bury you with fave stuff and knowing yours .... one last smoke and die in the fumes :joker:

Not really. Pai mei is a fictional character and I am about the least likely person in the world to be skilled in the art of punching my way out of a coffin .

Oh I thought that through but there would be no air to spark up. And can you imagine the paranoia?

lily. 30-12-2009 02:02 PM

To be fair Stu, you're not even skilled in the art of punching your way out of a paper bag. Your fighting skills are strictly verbal .. ;)

The paranoia would be quite epic I'd say... death by paranoia... that's a new one.. beats suffocation.

The pen is mightier than the sword!.

I can't imagine being stoned in a coffin. Our alien colonists would crack it open millenia later and see the lyrics to All Along The Watchtower scrope in.

I could always eat my way out, mind you.

lily. 30-12-2009 02:07 PM

I'm not sure the munchies extends to fine wood.

Stu 30-12-2009 02:09 PM

Someone could leave a mars bar or a bad poem on the headstone or something. I could certainly punch my way out then.

lily. 30-12-2009 02:10 PM

So it's settled then... mars bars above ground... ready-rolled in coffin with you... job done.
