I really don't think she will be entering the house as a celebrity housemate. That quote could mean 101 things. She might have gotten a regular place on one of the Big Brother side-shows, she might be referring to a show (non-BB) she is going on, she might be entering as a guest for a task.. it could mean anything.

Agreed! They say that they are going to make it special. How would putting Sophie on the show achieve that. Surely noone could consider her a proper, quality celeb - not, of course, that we will get any of those! :hugesmile:

Comes down to definition of 'qualify'. I, personally, don't think that any glamour model/page 3 girl is a celebrity. I see a celebrity as someone in the public eye for having some sort of talent (and I don't mean fake boobs) and making some sort of contribution to the entertainment industry! The bigger the talent/contribution - the bigger the celeb!

I agree, but this is the reality TV definition of celeb ;) The same types of shows where contestants from previous reality shows qualify as celebrities
