Why does the public hate Katia so much?
 

I don't understand why so many people boo'd her and gave her slack. I loved her and I thought she was really sweet, she wasn't two faced, she wasnt fake, and wasnt bitchy. She didn't do anything to deserve all the hate. People were too hard on her IMO.

People are like "she cheated on her boyfriend" but Preston cheated on his girlfriend with Chantelle on CBB but nobody gave him slack. But because it's a girl it automatically makes her a slut or a slag for flirting with another guy. It's such a double standard.

And what Dane or Alex or whoever said about how she should **** Jonas because it will make her more popular and made her cry is ridiculous. That made me so mad.

I think it's more to do with what happened before she went inside the house. She stole someones husband and married someone who's really famous.

I didn't hate/love her. I just don't think she's a celebrity personally.

I loved her too but the public are incredibly sexist.

She is sexy and I could see her good points but I'm afraid she did not do herself any favours in the house. If she went in to break her public persona , then she lost big time

Regarding Ronnie Wood, he was the one playing away from home not Katia.

Little was know about Katia other than being a girlfriend of a popstar. Instead of surprising us she ended up being nothing else more than girlfriend of a popstar in the House. Not the best qualities for a person, that's is why no one likes her. On top of that she had a BF in the outside world so she pubically cheated on him in front of the world, and are any of us surprised she ran back to Jonas once she was up for eviction?

Katia is what us men hate in women, she is full of shit!

The female part of the public mostly. And of course, being "russian" in the current situation in the UK doesn´t do her any favors. People project their repressed hatred towards foreigners on her.

The females they are scared and insecure and therefore mostly nasty. Most of my friends are men, "I just can´t" with women, in the words of the great MichaelK.
I don´t understand their problem. They are obsessed with men and are always surprised when they dump them. But the same man will cheat on one woman and be faithful to other, you know what I mean?

I have nothing to talk about with most women. I can´t empathise with their pathetic "problems" and don´t agree that all men are bastards. In fact, in my life I have hardly ever met a bastard, so I don´t know what they´re talking about... Needless to say, most women are not too crazy about me either... I always try to be kind and friendly, but they just look at me like I am an alien. I don´t mind. I hope little Katia doesn´t either. As long as animals and children like you, it´s all good. :)

With the girls, a lot of it is jealousy because they fancy Jonas. With the guys, just usual double standards - how dare a girl 'play' a guy, if indeed that was what she was doing, which I don't believe she was!

Double standards indeed. If Stephanie left a husband for a 20 year old hunk, she would have been cruzified. If Ronnie does the same for Katia, then Katia is suddenly the one to blame. That doesn't make sense.

I'm so sick of repeating this but here I go...........Nobody is saying that Ronnie isn't to blame But Katia is not Blameless and Ronnie is not a HM which is why nobody is talking about him!!

Some of the younger girls on here, who vilify Katia the most, admit to having a crush on Jonas - so the reasons for their 'hatred' towards her are obvious, however I know it doesn't apply to all females on here!

I didn't see that bit - but it sounds to me totally plausible that that was just a nervous laugh when discussing the subject - because no doubt she was well aware of public bad feeling towards her about it. It isn't exactly unusual on here for people to exeggerate and blow things way out of proportion. A little nervous laugh - means she was laughing at breaking up a marriage! Definitely a situation where people could read into that what they wanted to!

Maybe so but you seem to be always making excuses for her, do you not think that she was not even a small bit wrong?

She's not worth hating, frankly.

Just dull to watch. Huge mistake putting her in...she's neither famous or interesting.

A ball of contradictions; doesn't want fame but goes on BB(duh), doesn't want Jonas but gets into bed with him repeatedly - even after declaring she definitely didn't fancy him(duh).

Just did herself no favours in the house and seemed out of her depth.

For me, a lot of my opinions on the subject, aren't really about Katia herself, but the principle of the obvious double standards. Although, I do feel that like her or not for her relationship with Ronnie Wood, she really didn't do anything wrong in the house - certainly nothing that Jonas didn't do as well. But they were judged completely differently!

She was relatively quiet and inoffensive, unlike Sov, and for me did not deserve all that hostility, based on her behaviour in the house. I neither liked or hated her - just think people went too far with the hatred crap - and that annoys me!

Fair enough, tbh I think she's just a silly little girl who probably didn't realise the hurt she caused by hers (and Ronnies) actions. As for the Jonas thing, I think he's a bit creepy actually. I just hope that she actually learns something from all this.
