am i the only one that cant stand soaps
 

shows like eastenders and coranation street are so popular but i just dont get why all they seem to do in these shows is go from relationship to relationship oh and throw in the occasional murder. when i was younger i didnt mind them but as i got older i find them so repetitive yet these shows are never under threat to be cancelled and are some of the most watched tv in the uk i dont mean to offend fans of these shows just dont see the appeal

I used to love them when I was younger, especially Brookside, lol! But now I realise they really are repetative and completely unrealistic!

I hate all soaps. Terrible acting, and more importantly, who on Earth cares? What's the point in following a story with no discernable ending?

i said i dont mean to offend and i mean all these soaps not just eastenders which is the best one if i had to choose

i agree with the no ending they just go on forever there is no conclusion to look forward to

when they have got a good story im intrested but its when the actural good story comes around and its the same relationship break up forget that it ever happened so i dont like soaps but thats just my opinion because soaps have alot of fans so i respect there opinion

i really hate hollyoaks out of what ive seen horrific acting puts me off

Danielle Jones being knocked down, The public waited months to see her tell Ronnie how the hell is that not a conclusion to look forward to?

I only watch eastenders i dont like the rest

know they are on about not a conclusion to the show which i agree with them unlike other genres soaps have to get canciled to conclude

eastenders is the best british soap

i mean that i like a show to eventually end i dont like it when they go on forever

okay got you now i did feel bad for ronnie when her daughter died i have to say but my problem with eastenders is alot of the characters are selfish or unlikeable

fair enough everyone has their own preference when it comes to what tv shows they watch most people probably dont like the type of shows that i like

Well thats basically why people like Soaps.

Eastenders will still be on in 50 Years or more, thats whats great.
Growing up with somthing like that and watching it when your 60 Thinking 'Oh I remember years ago that happened..'

its probably just me then i must be weird

not to course a downer i dont think eastenders will make it to 50 years coronation street will be on 250 years later
