Help! I feel terrible & i don't know what to do..

My science teacher is a BIATCH! She picks on people on purpose and for no reason at all, it's very annoying. Many people say that about their teachers, however im being dead serious.

As we are working she pays close attention to the little things, for example yesterday as we were working i pushed my phone back into my pocket. She saw me do that and she convocated it over night and it wasn't even out of my pocket, the small fact that she saw SOME part of my phone, she kept it! I mean WTF YOU STUPID BITCH! I asked why she took it and she said

'It was distracting you from your work!'

I was really angry with her but i let her have it because arguing would make it worse!

Here is the bit im confused about.. I looked her up on facebook the same night, Just felt like looking up teachers.. i didn't just look up her..tbh i wanted to know if teachers had social lives, i know im such a child. Now i know 100% that she has facebook and i know that her profile is set to private. There was about 5 options for her name.. One caught my eye straight away and this was her profile picture, the profile was also set to private..

http://profile.ak.fbcdn.net/v229/157...30058_1646.jpg

This woman looks SO MUCH LIKE my science teacher.. i was shocked.. I done some further research.. She is from the same place as my teacher and old enough to be her mum. I also know my teacher went on holiday around the time she went missing.

At the beginning of the school year she took 2 months off and didn't tell anyone why.. I really think this was the reason why.. I think her mum is missing.

I know it's none of my business but i feel fucking terrible. I am quite a shit student in her class.. So what do i do about everything?! Do i tell her i know..? Or what..? This shocked me beyond belief.. Do you think thats why shes been so evil towards everyone!?

Pleaseeee Helpppp! Please..

You should write a book

Patrick 03-03-2010 07:41 PM

That would make a ****ing epic movie.

Patrick 03-03-2010 07:42 PM

Go into school tomarrow and tell Miss Gaskin that you seen her mum.

She will get so excited and get her coat on ready to go and find her, and she will be like 'You did? Were?'

And then you can say '...On a picture on Facebook'

Enid 03-03-2010 07:43 PM

Lame replies so far.

Don't get involved. You are just her student. Nothing more. Don't offer any help because she probably doesn't want anyone to know. Just be a bit nicer. ;)

Thats too evil. Even for me.. I would never do that!

Patrick 03-03-2010 07:45 PM

And BTW if any teacher demands to have your phone or iPod tell them to **** its YOURS, You payed for it.

You have to know how to do this, you dont give in and hand it over to her.

1. 'Aw miss dont be like that, please i'll turn it off now'
If she refuses go onto Number 2..

2. 'Miss my brother is dieing and I need my phone incase he dies so someone can tell me'
If she STILL refuses say..

3. '**** you im keeping it' and stick it in your pocket.
If she gets up and threatens to get the principle..

Walk out the fire exit, most Labs have one.
Walk out that and tell her You dont give a **** who she tells, School is school.

And then walk home.

Agreed. It's not your business. End of really.

Stu 03-03-2010 07:47 PM

I don't really see the problem. Something has happened that dosn't really have anything to do with you. I don't see how a Big Brother forum can help this crisis, as Paddy pointed out for us all.

This.

I Suppose you could stay behind after class and tell her.

But then whats the point?
Unless you know where her mum is then dont get involved.

Diffrent if you found out her mum is in Poland being used as a prostitute as we speak.

But you dont know that, so I wouldnt say anything to her if im honest.

And let her carry on being horrid..? i mean i rather let her be horrid to me.. but shes really bad at times! She gets very angry easily.. TBH she is bloody brave. I actually feel well bad! :(

I haven't told any friends.. i mean, like i said its none of my business to spread.

Thanks for the advice Enid :)

I didn't know what to do?? I thought the reason she is being mean could be the reason her mum is missing.. I didn't know whether to tell her or not.. I just wanted advise from people that did not go to my school..

Shasown 03-03-2010 08:16 PM

If you really feel the need to do something just ask explain you were on the net and saw the missing poster, ask her if its her mother and if she has been has been found yet, then helpfully suggest that if she ever needs your help, or if there is anything you can do to help, etc.

MrGaryy 03-03-2010 08:24 PM

I'll be honest. if it was me I'd probably say something to her in the hope of softening her on me a bit. that sounds bad but I would.

_Seth 03-03-2010 09:00 PM

What exactly did you do wrong?

this. It would be the best thing you could do.

Crimson Dynamo 04-03-2010 08:50 AM

Phones should not be allowed in schools. Children have no need for them.

My advice to you is to buckle down and get on with your work. School is to make YOU a better person, an employable person. Forget facebook and get your work done.

Niamh. 04-03-2010 10:38 AM

You are hilarious Loukas, make an anonymous phone call to the police

Edit :I didn't read your original post properly, I thought you thought she'd killed her mum, woops sorry, that's awful. Keep your mouth shut and be good in school!

thats a bit sick getting her hopes up like that how would you like it if some one did to you if your mum was missing !

pinkmichk 04-03-2010 10:48 AM

if you put half as much effort into behaving at school as you did finding out this info that you didnt need to know then she wouldnt have a reason for 'being nasty' (she is a teacher she is the 1 in authority position here) to you

NettoSuperstar! 04-03-2010 02:02 PM

She goes on holiday...mum goes missing...maybe you should ask her if she needs a new patio fitting?

I don't believe they should be used during lesson-time but I used to use mine before/after school if there was a problem on the way to/home from school, or during my lunch hour if it was needed.

andybigbro 04-03-2010 02:29 PM

If your teacher didnt want people to know, she wouldnt Have the image as her facebook picture. She obviously wants people to know her mum is missing so that if they see her they can report it.

Although bringing it up in school may just upset her. Teachers mostly seem to feel they have superiority to children in school, Majority of teachers do, its just a fact. So if you brought it up it may embarass her that you know some of her personal information.

I do hope she finds her mum though, If my mum was missing I would be devasted.
