Haha... Yes I'm a fan too! I couldn't believe it wasn't on last night! it is the highlight of my week! I love both Damon and Stefan; I don't think I could choose between them!
It's actually been bugging me who Elena reminds me of and then last week I saw BB's Chanel on television and it's her! Not doubles I know but similarities :)

haha yeah she does actually!

Lee. 02-06-2010 10:36 AM

God, yes.. I see it even more now that I see them side by side!
Have you read the books?

Niamh. 02-06-2010 10:39 AM

No, I only stumbled across it by accident actually, it did take me a few episodes to get into it but it's one of my favorite programmes now.

Are the books good?

I've not read them either actually.. I somehow (as I never thought it would be my thing) read all the Twilight books recently and watched the films and all of a sudden had a very sad, almost teenage obsession with vampires so started watching The Vampire Diaries.. I may read the books after the prog has finished. Books are always better!

Niamh. 02-06-2010 10:49 AM

Did you read Anne Rices Vampire Chronicles? I just bought those for my step-daughter recently. I loved them when I was a teenager

No, I only just started getting back into reading again recently, I let it go for a while when my kids were very young, I seemed to be too tired all the time! I only saw the first film and I didn't think it was that great tbh

Nah, the film is utter crap compared to the book... I read a lot but can't be doing with anything far fetched or fantasy. I stick to thrillers/crime or autobiographies so I was really dubious about reading a teenage vampire story. But honestly, they are the some of the best books I have ever read! I challenge you to read them and not be completely and utterly in love with Edward Cullen! It's actually embarrassing.. my friends and I are all in our 30s and we already have our tickets booked for the 3rd film coming out.. My mam says I'm having a sort of mid life crisis! :D

I'm more of a sucker for Caroline really, Nina's quite gorgeous though.

Novo 16-12-2010 06:15 PM

For some reason i think Caroline looks a lot better this season then she did in Season 1

Yeah, a lot better.. her face was a bit annoying in the first one.

Niamh. 22-12-2010 06:37 PM

Gav reckons Bonnie is the nicest out of the girls

I think Caroline looks nicer this season because she acts different this season. She was very self-involved and whiny last season, but she's a fierce vampire.

Novo 24-12-2010 02:10 PM

Just read somewhere that they aren't going to continue with the werewolf story after this season so i reckon Taylor could be going soon, don't know what else they can do with him apart from the triangle with him Matt and Caroline

Novo 29-12-2010 03:49 PM

When the hugely-popular The Vampire Diaries returns next year, the series will take its characters into a darker future, says producer Julie Plec.

"We're going to come to the end of what we're calling our werewolf chapter, which will take that story to a really dark place and really change a lot of characters' lives, not necessarily in a good way," Plec told ShowbizSpy.

Lee. 29-12-2010 03:53 PM

Can't wait! Why do they have to take a break anyway??
