Which countries do you think will flop at the World Cup?
 

I think France and Italy will be knocked out in the group stages.

Brazil, Portugal and Germany in the quarter finals.

And then teams like Russia and Ghana making it a lot further than usual.

I have a feeling that Brazil are not going to do very well this year. I think that it will end up being very open.. which is good.

England will get knocked out at the quarters like we always do :p

Agreed on Ghana, I'm thinking Ivory Coast will go far aswell despite losing Drogba.

Argentina without question. I mean, Maradona is managing them for feck sake.

Think big teams like Germany, England and Brazil could struggle too.

I was pretty shocked they didn't make it through to be fair.

Yeah there were definitely a few countries that should have made it to the finals, but failed miserably.

Then again, we failed to make it to the Euro finals in 06 so we can't really talk :joker:

I have a good feeling about Ghana too. I got them in the last world cup for a sweepstake so I kind of followed them a bit and their team isn't bad. Got Ivory coast this year in a sweepstake on TiBB and off (Total coincidence) so I wont be unhappy if they win as i'll be 32 pounds richer.

Obviously England. Will go out on penalties again :D:D:D

Germany will find it tough, there squad is nowhere near as strong as it was at the last 2 World Cup's. Italy don't look as good either, but they still have some pretty big names in there, and their defence is great. Brazil aren't as strong as usual but they'll still score a lot of goals, but I think they'll be vunerable when defending.

Italy out in the group stages? Have you seen their group? New Zealand and Slovakia are dredfull teams. My friend (whoose a time travaler) said they get knocked out in the Last 16 to Cameroon.

Nah, Italy have a good draw and should be ok up until the quarter finals.

They are going out to Cameroon in the Last 16. I just told you my friend is a time travaler and told me.

I'm from Wales myself, but ive always wanted England to do well.

England, Spain, Portugal and New Zealand, because I have been to those countries.

Good man I would always support the home nations if they were in the world cup :)

yeah we never ever get in it.... i sometimes wish we werent in the european qualifying zone. You see the Oceania teams have easy opposition... why cant wales play the pacific island teams to qualify lol :D

Italy are in a group consisting of Slovakia, Paraguay and New Zealand. So assuming they progress they will play either The Netherlands, Cameroon, Denmark or Japan in the Last 16.

My mate (Whoose a time travaler) said they will play and lose to Cameroon but I don't know if I should believe him or not.
