the money in tv and sport is obscene..especially when you consider its chavs and criminals who take up premier positions in those industries..davina is an ex druggie who got lucky through family connections.

The current england team and perhaps since murdoch raped the national game with his sky tv have never been about pride..that last true england team was italia 90.....since then its been about money, this lot are only thinking in terms of the money a world cup victory would bring same with the england cricket team winning the ashes....it was all about chat shows, books, mag deals etc

Parky is nearly dead, £40 to £60 a night is great if you're a student, plus Davina's pay package is no more obscene than the BBC dole out to Chris Moyles and Jo Wiley who don't even affect the BBC's revenue.

Yeh I've felt she is overrated and overpaid. I would rather they spent more on the show, tasks, LF with different cameras options etc

It's embarrassing that we have such a high national debt as well as seeing our nurses and teachers struggling but celebrities and footballers are idolized and paid ridiculous amounts like it's perfectly normal or deserved.

Actually, there is no proof that money produces better performances. On the contrary in fact.

I'm behind Davina all the way - she's been one of the many things that have made the show work for so many years. People in her industry get paid huge amounts of money, and that's never going to change. At least Davina wouldn't have minded taking a pay cut!

They don't want to play football - they just want to be famous footballers who get paid lots of money, for doing relatively little and get plenty of chavy wags!

I think Davina is perfectly fine as a presenter, but she sucks terribly as an interviewer where she comes across as a fawning, simpering idiot. Davina is an incurable fan of the show and as such, she wears her biases on her sleeve.

This. She's the face of the show, she loves what she does, and she does it well...

Exactly, if people heard she had quit the show everyone would be like wtf why did she do that?? And then everyone would compare the new presenter to her and long story short, it wouldn't be the same again.

She thinks she is. But what makes the show are the HMs, the tasks, the twists.

I think it's widely recognised that Davina has little talent, but she is iconic to this show.

I used to be shocked when people said they didn't like Davina because i really did and thought she was a brilliant presenter (as briliant as a presenter can be of course, it's just learning a script and autocue reading isn't it?). But the past few years it was like a switch was flicked and she turned into this crazy erratic woman. Must be the menopause or something.

Looking back at BB1-6 she was a reasonably enthusiastic presenter that would be herself and be funny on screen. Then around BB7/BB8 she started jumping around and shoving her chin at the camera. What happened? It's like a different person.

Anyway, no matter how much she is paid it's not as ridiculous as the money the BBC wastes (and Channel 4 will no doubt shell out for him) on Wossy.

I have hated her since day 1. Why they every thought she would be a good presenter I just dont know. She is childish, puerile and annoying. In the first 2 series she was just about tolerable. After that no. Every year I press mute every time she comes on screen.

She needs to get back to late night game shows on itv
