Govan's out and you were surprised??
If it took you this long to be 'outraged' that Govan was evicted, then shame on you.
Anyone with half a brain would have realised just how stupid the voters were after Victor left during BB 2004. Before him, there weren't any truly iconic housemates, and contestants of his calibre fell down the same slope he did: as the voters didn't (and don't) appreciate good housemates. When Science lost out to the public vote against Orlaith, that should have made the BB production team wise up and they should have eradicated the eviction process. The fact they didn't is pitiful. And anyone here who is truly 'outraged' that Govan has gone hasn't done their homework nor understands human psychology. Pathetic. Btw, here's the solution to this problem. Easy to implement and would have saved the show if utilised back in 2004: http://www.thisisbigbrother.com/foru...d.php?t=143250 |
Not at all he deserved to go.

This thread is so important and yet no one even reads it. Disgusting.

Also, look at the replies to my OP's: they are dimwitted. The fact you aren't siding with me (yet give the impression of someone who has some degree of intelligence) is shameful imo. |

Theoretically, for every 7 of us normal people who think people like Govan (who are only entertaining due to the fact they are so mean to/about others) should be evicted, there are going to be 3 other morons (like the person who started this thread) trying to defend him. |

1. The show would never end 2. People would never change 3. Friendship groups will never/rarely change 4. Less interaction between different housemates Personally I like seeing controversial characters evicted, since it is fun to watch 'friends' of evictees try to socialise with people who they constantly bitched about etc. Do you not think it would be more interesting to watch someone like Keeva (for example) trying to mingle with the; Sunshine, JJ, Mario, Dave, Ben group, than it would be to watch the same people, bitching about the same people, over and over and over and..... |
Victor deserved his eviction in week 8, despite being an influential housemate. He behaved incredibly out of order that week and bitched about Shell for ages in the hope that it would make her snap. Lets put it this way, he couldn't even survive against Jason in that eviction.

If you give the HM's punishments on Friday, the BB production team could conjure up all sorts of nasty ways to get the housemates arguing/falling out. The possibilities would be endless and the entertainment value x10 better. |

70% of people might vote for BNP, it doesn't make you wrong for disliking them, nor does it make you wrong for complaining about them, but that is how democracy works. Its about trying to please the majority. Look at it from BB's point of view - 5,000,000 viewers.. would they rather please 3,500,000 of them, or 1,500,000. |

My proposal wasn't even voted on, so comparing it to tonights eviction is nonesense! As for the BNP, how can you even imply the majority would vote them in any real numbers considering they don't even come close to even the Lib Dems (who are seen as a joke by most lol). |
Quote:
It is meant generally - 70% of people may vote for 'x' (I used BNP just to make things seem more logical, but feel free to use whatever you like).. it doesn't mean you are wrong about 'x', its doesn't neccesarily mean 'x' is best or even right, but it was a majority decision. Govan was a front runner for the 'bitching party' in the eviction 'election' and he didn't win. |
