I've got a feeling Paraguay will nick it, given how well the South Americans have performed so far.

I'm really looking forward to the other game though.

I believe in Japan. They've played so well, and I think they got the easiest opponent out of their 8. They've never made it to Quarters in Japanese History, and in 1 hour and 23 minutes, history may be made for Japan. Let's go Nippon!

Cannot wait until Spain vs Portugal hope spain smash it and prove they are WC hungry after winning euro.

Hopefully they will win anyway.

Good first half. Japan had some decent chances. I think if we keep it a tie, Japan might just win as Kawashima is known to be great at saving penalties. Naturally, a goal our way would be better but thinking worst cases! Come on Nippon! :hello:

Kawashima is a legend. He's my favorite world cup player regardless.

He went too early for all the penalties. Lost his nerve a bit.

Oh no, I completely agree. But he's saved Japan enough so I'm not blaming this on him. Was a really close game. Either winner would've come out lucky!

I hope so too. Spain's way of playing would've been a better potential opponent for Japan. Still can't believe they lost out in the very, very end :bawling:
