Shocked

Was anyone really shocked that she went last night, i certainly was, that's the first i've been really surprised by eviction in a good couple of years.

I rejoiced when Marcus beat Freddie, but this one was a nasty shock. But the producers have never really given Sunshine a fair deal anyway, right from the start with the controversy they made over the food, to their editing of the Ben conflict, to their biased coverage on BBBM and BBLB.

Stacey. 03-07-2010 10:41 AM

I was surprised when Rachael went over Sunshine/Shabby and when Freddie went over Marcus.

I was like one of the only ones that thought Sunshine would go, when they were first up for eviction lmao and everyone thought I was weird thinking that.

Chels 03-07-2010 10:41 AM

Oh conspiracy theorists go away. Just accept the fact she was not liked.

karezza 03-07-2010 10:42 AM

People presumed she was safe & didn't vote. Caiohme was the big favourite to go. Multiple voting makes the eviction results uncertain.

I was shocked by not surprised - I didn't think so many would have acted so over-the-top about the incident with her and JJ and actually voted her out because of it! Keeva's behaviour has been much worse - and as a result was favourite to go - unfortunately some are very fickle!

Tom4784 03-07-2010 10:48 AM

I was pleasantly surprised, I liked Sunshine in the first few days but she just got so annoying, everything she did was a ploy for the cameras. Good riddance.

Joelle. 03-07-2010 10:49 AM

I liked her but I'm not that surprised after vaginagate etc.
but if that hadn't happened then I think caoimhe would have been a gonner. Shabby looked shocked when Sunshines name was announced though.

heyugoonie 03-07-2010 10:53 AM

If Sunshine had been up against just one of them, that one would have been evicted as Shabby's votes would of gone to Caoimhe and vice versa.

Shabby really thought it was going to be either herself or Caoimhe leaving, I think

Violetfairy 03-07-2010 10:55 AM

I liked Sunshine  to see her go, but I think she is better off with her real friends and hopefully defy everyone and become a good Doctor.

it's dramatic irony really!!! in the end it was Dave, the person they hate more than anyone, who saved them both.. if shabby had been on her own against sunshine and dave she might well have gone..

Niall 03-07-2010 10:57 AM

I wasn't shocked, it was gonna be her or Caoimhe who would go, if Shabby went I would have been very very surprised to see her go.

Yeah, I think she wanted either Caoimhe or herself to go due to what has been going on between them. I think she thought it was for the best. I don't get them sometimes though, one minute they are best friends and the next minute they cannot stand being in the same room as each other.

This is the most realistic assumption :) it's definately what killed her IMO.

Agree. Best to be away from those pack of wolves in there.

Oooo_get_her 03-07-2010 11:04 AM

I was shocked at first but then I thought about it and it makes sense.

There are 2 types of people who vote in BB evictions - the die-hard fans, who watch all the shows and the live feed and post here and DS and such, and then those who just watch the HL shows and / or the eviction shows. Sunshine had much more support among the first group than the second. The HL edits really did show her in quite a bad light - the LF showed Caoimhe in a much worse light but at least half the people voting would not have seen that.

I haven't looked for the stats yet but Davina said it was close - far closer on the phone lines than in our polls here. It does make sense really, though I think the house would be far more interesting with Caoimhe gone and Sunshine still in there.

Ach well - can't win 'em all.

I don't think deep down she wanted herself and Caoimhe to stay. At that moment in time she was speaking about it, she wasn't sure what she wanted but I think we all know really she wants to be there because of Caoimhe. She enjoys spending time with her and wants more time in there with her.

They're quite up and down I must admit, but I think Shabby feels differently a lot because Caoimhe goes over-the-top sometimes.

bbfan1991 03-07-2010 11:12 AM

I wanted her to go but thought that Caoimhe would go, still good riddance!:D.

Jordan. 03-07-2010 11:31 AM

Yeah i was really shocked, Davina said it was very very close between her and Caoimhe so im guessing it was a matter of a couple of % :(

Mike 03-07-2010 11:33 AM

I was quite shocked. Even after the whole thing with JJ I still thought Sunshine would just about be safe. Expected Caoimhe to go.

Lee. 03-07-2010 11:51 AM

I wasn't really shocked as I couldn't make up my mind who was more likely to go.. I take it it was close one? What were the percentages?
As much as Sunshine annoys me, I would have rather she stayed and Caoimhe had left as lets face it, she's pretty dull as far as housmates go.

Sunshine was around about 42% and Caoimhe was pretty close so i think it would be about:
42% sunshine
40% caoimhe
18% shabby

:joker:

I would LOL if Sunshine was like 44% and Caoimhe was like 43%.

Lee. 03-07-2010 12:14 PM

I would have thought it would have been more close between Caoimhe and Shabby with Sunshine having the least actually... I only watched "hatgate" for the first time last night and found Shabby's behaviour really horrible, uncomfortable and embarrassing to watch! Plus if she doesn't stop flapping her hands about when she's taking I am going to do som damage to my telly :D

Vicky. 03-07-2010 03:11 PM

Not too shocked really...especially after watching the bookies change dramatically.

And after the whole vagina thing...I have never seen such an over-reaction on BB for a while...since nikki, in fact.

Raph 03-07-2010 03:12 PM

I was dead shocked. I was almost certain Caoimhe was going to go!

Completely agree, was shocked in a disappointed way, but I thought her time was up when her odds were shortening at a fast rate. Sunshine might have overreacted a little, but the public overreacted way more imo.
