Nah it's real. And to be honest I like Josie and all but the thumb sucking stuff is really start to creep me out, it's pretty horrible.

It's common for a lot of grown women to act cutesy and childish in the belief if they behave like men want them to, they can get what they want. Marilyn Monroe acted like that both in film and in reality, and... (*shudders*) Nikki Grahame is a very OTT example

She knows what she's doing and some people are too thick to see past her sceme!

Bristol makes me feel sick. She sucks her thumb, she smokes, she has horrible hair, she has yellow teeth & she stinks of tobacco & sweat.

This as I think Josie's is a habit (which I can't stand) but as for the others copying her that's just crass.

My sister sucked her thumb until she was about 12/13. I've never seen anyone as old as Josie do it though.

Is it any worse than say - nail-biting? (Which I do).

It's affected and she's definitely doing it on purpose. She probably thinks it looks sexy but it just makes her look like an enormous baby.

She's not so much sucking her thumb as sucking her acrylic nail extension. Tasty... and about as genuine as Josie's thumb sucking.

I find it odd to see an adult do this.

16/07/10, I like Josie & I do't think her thumb sucking is fake but I really really wish she would stop doing it. C'mon Josie give it a break.


22/07/10, update............. Can hardly believe how my opinion of Josie has completely changed since I wrote above post. Really don't like her at all now.

Saw Caoimhe doing it as a joke yesterday to Josie. But have never ever seen Ife do it! Also Josie sucks her thumb you can tell by the her way her teeth looks.
It is an awful habit for someone her age and I think she is 100% aware of what she is doing and the reasons behind why she does it.

Its a habit while she is sucking her thumb she needs to have some cloth of anything in her other hand to feel very bad habit at her age.

The psycologist would say in her subconscious she wants to perform sexual act on JJ....just kidding.

Very true, thumb sucking causes misaligned of the jaws and incorrect positioning of the teeth, which Josie has.

I guess her misaligned jaw and incorrectly postioned teeth are a major problem to some.

Not at all, my daughter still sucks her thumb, the only person really concerned about her teeth positioning is her orthodontist

Its a comfort thing, my sister sucked her thumb until she was in her 20s. Her top teeth pushed forward slightly because of it but it looks really attractive on her.

I find it no more annoying and much more attractive than people who bite their nails which is a horrible habit.

she's a toddler. What's funny is that some see her as a mother figure to JJ despite her tantrums, thumb sucking and lying.

Do you have any idea how many calories are in a thumb? :thumbs: Suck one for too long and you'll just pile on the pounds!
