HaHa. Pathetic. Is that all you can think of to slag her off?. She's right, if you're in the armed forces you DO do as you're told.

Zippy 20-07-2010 10:56 PM

Twisting much!

xzlr8 20-07-2010 11:03 PM

im glad shes off the show temporarily. cant even do a simple task without ruining the whole show. god. how incompetent can one be?

she can stay in hospital till thurs and get boo'ed out of the hse on friday. hell yea!!

Angus 20-07-2010 11:05 PM

What I thought was out of order was her taking the piss out of Steve because of his obviously limited involvement in tasks. I'd like to see how much she could do without her legs, seeing as how she can do ***** all now because she's sprained her poor ickle ankle.

Wait until her pet needs treatment, then she'll change her tune about vets.

Hero1 20-07-2010 11:33 PM

Erm Ben was saying people should not be sheep in the army, she disagreed and said you should follow orders....as ALL recruits have to.

as90 21-07-2010 12:18 AM

No! Your misinterpreting the situation. She is a just trying to gain some status in the house through belittling people. She doesn't really mean what she says.

Well she watched the show before she went in and saw that the house mates talked this way to Steve. Unfortunately it does not suit her and it makes her look ridiculous.
The others have been with Steve for six weeks and they know what they can say. Sometimes Dave can be very disrespectful, beyond a joke I would say especially when we have seen film of him out in his pretend monks robes in a wheelchair.

starry 21-07-2010 05:35 AM

Ben is far more controversial in what he says. But you always find the audience wants to hate on new HMs as they are worried they will be a threat to their established favourites.

KERRYJ 21-07-2010 08:05 AM

Keeley was very insensitive towards Steve's involvment in tasks. It is obvious to even the simplest minded person that movement for him is limited and that he can not take part in really physical tasks ( i'm sure he would if he could). She should kept her mouth shut, I really think despite her ankle injury she is gone this week. Maybe the injury is karma. What comes around goes around. Lets see how she gets on with just a little sprained ankle. I hope Steve puts her in her place if she whinges.

Im sick of this Army Joe routine with Steve ,he is using it ,he was in the army 2 yrs ,over 20 yrs ago, he is not a serving soldier ,he has not been to Iraq,Afghanistan ,he is cashing in on public sympathy and depth of feeling our armed forces have got since these 2 terrible wars have started ,ignore him,he doesnt deserve to win bb on the back of 2 yrs service over 20 yrs ago

I saw it as her telling him to get more involved.

Sorry - but I don't get the point of your comments about how long he served. He couldn't serve any longer could he - as doing his job nearly killed him and cost him his legs and therefore his career! In those days Ireland was pretty much today's Iraq/Afghanistan - it was equally as dangerous, as Steve is testimony to! Being in the army directly affected his whole life and shaped Steve into the man he is today - no escaping that!

Oh well that's alright then - do a JJ and humiliate and drag down other people because it makes yourself look good? Steve has done his best with the disability he has, and she is a vile cow for picking on him because of it. In the outside world if she discriminated against one of her employees, she'd be up in front of a tribunal in record time.

She's a poisonous little bitch and she will hopefully be gone on Friday.

It is hardly Steve's fault if the tasks BB set are physically impossible for him to do - he has been involved in EVERY task as far as I'm aware,so what exactly was her point, if not to put him down and humiliate him?

I agree ,but still do not think he should win bb11 on the grounds of pity ,he has done nothing to merit winning, and he could have got a job in the army if he wanted ,A bloke who lives near me is the most injured soldier still alive ,he is taking a desk job this year ,and he has no legs and is brain damaged ,THIS is true grit ,the army was and still is his life

Keeley is about as much of a threat to the established HMs as a pesky little fly that will swatted out of the house on Friday.

Isn't the point that she should give him a break! Maybe hurting her foot and being unable to participate - might just give the selfish, little madam a tiny little insight into what life is like for Steve on a day-to-day basis!

All I'm saying is I just saw it as her being friendly and offering up a pep talk, not her putting him down. I like her she seems pretty down to earth for a wag. Nice and bubbly, someone who will stand her ground.

A pep talk? Who hell is she to give anyone a pep talk. She's a devious, thoughtless little grommit who goes off half-cocked and assumes her own point of view is SO much more valid than everyone else's.

muchadoaboutnothing 21-07-2010 10:11 AM

There are plenty of tasks that BB could come up with that involve both abled-bodied and disabled people. I can't stand Keeley but she does have a point. During the basketball task Steve was made a coach (because he is an actual coach) but why didn't BB have him play the game and let us see if he had (has) any basketball skills? He is getting a free ride to all the parties.

well they all go on and on and on about team work, isn't giving out pep talks something you would do to another team member if you saw them slipping?

I repeat... who the hell does she think she is to be handing out pep talks? Steve (who isn't my favourite housemate by a long chalk) isn't physically able to do tasks in the same way the others are. Maybe now Keeley's hurt her ankle, someone can give her a pep talk and encourage her not to sit out the tasks because it'll be letting the side down.

There is no need to point out the obvious because it's OBVIOUS.

you seem to be confusing obvious with offensive, which is what the OP title thread says.
