John James has the highest IQ shock

Just said on Perth FM that the top 5 hm iqs are

John James 126
Andrew 122
Sunshine 120
Keeley 118
David 115

The lowest was Mario with 63, I think Josie and the guy said Nathan and Steven

Tom4784 24-07-2010 04:33 PM

I'm on par with David...

I'm surprised about John James really, I expected Andrew or Caoimhe to have the most.

terryrow 24-07-2010 04:35 PM

you need it to be over 140 to join mensa, i took the test.

You either need 140 or need to be a abject loser who wants to join a fake club based on a highly suspect and dated multiple choice quiz

lol

Crimson Dynamo 24-07-2010 04:39 PM

mario is border line ******

Stacey. 24-07-2010 04:40 PM

Mario would be the highest.

Alpertinator 24-07-2010 04:40 PM

Fookin' hell, right surprise that. Thing is yeah Andrew is a mathematical genius but he said he was bad at other subjects I think he said he was bad at literacy. He's not all around intelligent, just really good at maths.

JJ isn't really dumb, he's just kinda' laid back when it comes to intelligence... or somethin'. You can see he has common sense and knows what to do in certain situations though, I mean last night when everyone was desperately shouting out who they wanted in, who stood up and said to everyone "Everyone be quiet... look you've all gotta' sit down, just everyone sit down" and decided to do it fairly by counting the votes for each potential housemate.

It was hectic and yet JJ was the one who knew what to do.

Still, really surprised about a few things there. For example Ben not being in the top 5 is kind of a surprise, Corin not being in the bottom lot, or even at bottom, same for Rachel. JJ being top is a big surprise to me though still.

Well yeah actually I agree with that Trumpet. The IQ test is kinda' dated and it's not really an accurate assessment of somebodys' overall intelligence. I'm not down with the IQ test to be honest.

Beastie 24-07-2010 04:44 PM

Perth FM.. is this actually true though.. what do they actually ask in this IQ test.. John James said he was sh!t at school and once got the lowest exam mark in the whole school or something??

InOne 24-07-2010 04:44 PM

Wow JJ haha Always thought David did seem quite switched on as well

And you better not be fibbing LT :nono:

eye sea 24-07-2010 04:44 PM

They release this data each year. It is part of the pychometric testing all hm's have to undergo to see if mentally they are stable.

"great at school " doesn't equal a high IQ necessarily.

Kate! 24-07-2010 04:47 PM

only John James has a higher score than me!! (124) In your face Andrew, I can't stand you, you big eared weirdo !!!!!!!! lmao

Mario THINKS he's intelligent but he's always sounded very dopey to me. He even looks dopey how he stares into space.

Livia 24-07-2010 04:50 PM

... which just proved the point that IQ tests don't really tell you anything about a person except they're good at puzzles.

You're making that up. For a start you mention Perth FM, who the hell listens to that!!! and you're counting on no one being able to check the info. Where is the link we can check?

Also, where did the actual data come from? How did Perth FM get that info? And the big clue that you're lying is Mario's score being 63.

Jords 24-07-2010 04:53 PM

I dont believe this..

Where did they get their results from?

fingers 24-07-2010 05:02 PM

IQ tests used to be done at age 11 when the test actually measured intelligence, not life experience.

fingers 24-07-2010 05:05 PM

In any case if you told John James that he was going to have an I.Q test his answer would be "What does that mean?"

it's never measured "life experience". What are you on about? hehe

BB_Eye 24-07-2010 05:23 PM

Shame he is shamelessly ignorant and uneducated. All of that intelligence is spent on manipulating people and playing mindgames.

James 24-07-2010 05:26 PM

If someone got 63 it can't be a very accurate or rigorous test. Either that or he didn't try very hard.

RLMAO. You really know absolutely nothing about IQ tests.

Tip, if you're going to post BS lying posts at least check that you know what you're lying about.

The irony of your OP is no doubt lost on you. LOL.

I expect Mario thought it was an Ikea test and answered most of the questions in Swedish

Angus 24-07-2010 05:31 PM

IQ is a measure of intelligence, not knowledge.
Anyone can acquire knowledge, but it's knowing how to apply it that denotes intelligence.
I believe Andrew has an IQ of 133 so the above scores are highly suspect. Maths may be a specialised subject in many ways, but it is also the one subject that is utilised in many areas of brain function and is a good measure of overall intelligence. In any event "Perth FM" is hardly the authority on intelligence quotients, and where would they have got them from anyway?

You're obviously lying.

Any contestant on BB would have to give WRITTEN INFORMED CONSENT to participate. That requires that they are able to give informed consent. Anyone with an IQ of 63 would not be considered capable of giving informed consent. In fact a recent High Court ruling went against the BBC when they tried to use a women for a documentary who had an IQ of 63, as the High Court judge ruled the woman could NOT have given her consent to participate in the show.

fingers 24-07-2010 05:33 PM

Any one who saw John James asking the most inane questions during the first couple of weeks (things that even a 15 year old schoolboy would know) will wonder at his score of 125.
