We had a lass stationed near us in Germany that we used to call Chatham Lil lol.

Have been there a couple of times with it being the home of the Engineers ( hubbies ex regiment)

mosher - listens to rock music..metal wears baggy pants or pants that shows their ass as they fall down to there knees.

Skater - likes high shoes and big shoes often carries a skateboard with them.

Well in that case most of the ones I see hanging around in the town centre are chavs.

The moshers are in evidence but don't tend to be in gangs. The skaters are confined largely to one or two of the estates.

Where I live the biggest social groupings seen in the street are pensioners exchanging pleasantries and gardening anecdotes. Some car admiration cliques, and in the summer there is synchronished lawn-mowing.

Sounds peaceful.

We have all of them.

Chavs mostly, though they live on the outskirts mostly. In the town there's no real defining line between moshers + skaters, so we have this little amalgamated group.

Chav fact - in 90% of chav gangs theres always a..Jacko, Johnno, Jaffa, Wacko, Acko or Dicko..

There aren't really any gangs in my parish, there aren't enough young people to form a noticeable majority.
As for the island as a whole, there are loads of chavs and quite a few moshers as well. Both groups despise each other with a passion.

theres hardly any gangs where i live. but theree are a few little groups of chavs here sometimes. (mostly kids)

Although I live on the "wrong side of the river" we dont get too many gangs. I hate to use this word because i dislike it so much but it is rather "chav" in my area

I've seen the supposed '**** checklists', and I don't know a single person that doesn't tick several boxes, therefore making them a ****. It's a pretty sad state of affairs that this racist term (the origin is a word corrupted from the Romany language, and used as a term of abuse towards Gypsies) is now deemed perfectly acceptable by so many people. Similarly, the term 'scallies' in the 'poll' (queue here to bash anyone that doesn't fit your stereotypical view of what's acceptable) is also used incorrectly. The term originated to describe 'a loveable rogue / Jack the lad' type, but has been corrupted to suggest something far more sinister. Shame on those that need to label others to make themselves feel more secure, and a hearty round of applause for those that refuse to march in line.

There are no 'gangs' round where I live. I'm puzzled by the question:puzzled:

Not many gangs where I live but I know most the trouble makers anyway.

There are very violent and chavvy areas though near me, Kingstanding.. Wyley Birch, Small Heath, Nechells. Very rough areas where i wouldn't walk at night, the one time i did i got a knife held up to me and got £2.50 robbed off me. Lol
