Never been so scared in my life.

Ok im 16 and a guy and straight but I dont care, a massive spider just crawled along the floor, im not exaggerating! I feel like there is things crawling all over me. I've never shook so much before. I just cant stand them, had a terrible dream once I was sleeping and they were crawling all ove rme and in my mouth, been scared ever since. Im now in my mums bed, wont sleep atall.

Whats your biggest fear?

rick-roll 10-08-2010 12:59 AM

Did you know that the average person, in their lifetime, eats up to 8 spiders during their sleep.

my biggest fear is my girlfriend when she's on her period.

Patrick 10-08-2010 01:03 AM

I know how you feel, I was taking a piss the other day and a massive, MASSIVE spider (Probably the same size as yours) was right beside my head just chilling on the wall.

I was like '******!' and tried to hit it with sh*t to squash it but it was too big and kept running.

Then my mum came up and ******ing locked me in the bathroom with the spider incase it got out, The bitch.

In the end I ended up killing it with a Rubber Duck that said 'Happy Holidays 2006' so it was all good.

Yeah, I always feel guilty after killing it though lol

seanraff07 10-08-2010 01:34 AM

I get that feeling when it's like things are crawling all over you when i'm watching I'm A Celeb and they are doing a task when all the insects etc. are poured over them.

prkp12 10-08-2010 01:44 AM

But they're about a million times more scared than you are Patrick.

And you shouldn't kill them... don't forget they rid your house of those flies, which are far worse than a few spiders. And far more unhealthy for humans.

Callum 10-08-2010 01:50 AM

If we eat spiders in our lifetime, how do we not feel them crawling into our mouth?

Nah I don't hope that happens actually, that's cruel.

Lol. If it weren 't for them you'd have more blue bottles and fruit flies buzzing around your home. They're great.

Shasown 10-08-2010 02:18 AM

Most UK spiders species are harmless, their fangs wont penetrate human skin. 80% of accidrntal spider bites dont have venom injected anyway. Spider bites are no more painful than bee stings to most people, they sting and then itch over a couple of days.

While its true some more dangerous spiders do come in from overseas with shipments of bananas etc, these cases are very rare. Scorpions also find their way to the uk via this same route, rule of thumb with scorpions is the smaller the pincers the more dangerous the sting.

Use a glass to capture your spider and a piece of paper or card to slide under the glass to move the spider out of the house if you want to. Fly spray will kill them in the same way it does with flies.

you're too butch for that carry on Terry: you either stub them with the toe of your army boots or you eat them for energy while on a mission behind enemy lines. Don't play dumb with me baby.

Nah never kill spiders, I like them, my eldest daughter used to have a couple of tarantulas as pets, brought back (accidentally, of course a scorpion from Central America a few years ago, son kept that as a pet) try not to kill flies, wasps or bees either, becoming a pansy in my old age.

Yep, they don't bother me at all. I hate flies, like really hate them, so I find spiders being about sorta comforting.

Doubt it!

But yeah, I love all god's creatures in the choir, some sing low and some sing higher. We're just the conducter at this stage. Unfortunately most of us think we're the Terminator.

I cant stand them, if I see a spider in my bedroom I cant even get to sleep unless someone catches it for me.

I must admit though, that if one of them crawls on me I get the creeps.

prkp12 10-08-2010 07:07 AM

Ok, so I've avoided my room all night, got about an hours sleep. Mum and dad just came home and my dad cleaned out my whole room looking for this spider, he didnt find it. So my mum began walking upstair and i turned to her and went, very seriously, 'watch oot, theres a spider aboot.' Im in bed now, terrified.
