So what did we think of BB11?

I thought it was fuc*ing shi*

NettoSuperstar! 02-09-2010 01:32 PM

I thought it was the best one for years after BB1,2 and 3, less freaks and wannabes than previous years, but not too normal and boring like BB4 lot, a good mix of genuinely interesting people on the whole

ILoveTRW 02-09-2010 01:35 PM

I cannot express my disgust for it.

Niamh. 02-09-2010 01:37 PM

It wasn't the worst series but it was close!

NettoSuperstar! 02-09-2010 01:47 PM

1,2,3,5,6 and 11 were good...EDIT: and BB7 was good in parts , the rest were ****

_Seth 02-09-2010 01:48 PM

^You missed BB7!

NettoSuperstar! 02-09-2010 01:48 PM

Nikki, Pete, Glyn, Richard, Grace etc.

NettoSuperstar! 02-09-2010 01:50 PM

Nikki's year? yeh that was ok but too many wannabes I only really liked Nikki and Glyn...pete was ok but not very entertaining for me

M X 02-09-2010 01:51 PM

I loved BB11. My second favourite after BB7. I expected it to be so bad, after the complete bore that was BB10.

Stacey. 02-09-2010 01:51 PM

Loved it :D

well I wasn't happy with the winner but then I rarely am (twice only) and there was lots of vile characters in it but sooooooooo entertaining, it reminded me of BB5 in that way, I reckon it could have been as good as 5 if the producers had put as much effort in to as they did with 5

Mystic Mock 02-09-2010 02:26 PM

i liked it and the only people that dont are bitter sam, corin and john james fans.

don't be silly, I've loved other series when my favourite hasn't won - BB5, BB6 and BB10 for example. It's just an opinion.

well you did say "the only people who didn't like it" which would imply all the people who didn't like it

Raph 02-09-2010 02:57 PM

loved it :)

Jordan. 02-09-2010 02:59 PM

It was alright but no where near as good as it was made out to be. 'going out with a bang' LOL.

ElProximo 02-09-2010 03:11 PM

It might have been in my top 3 but the inconsistency really hurt BB11 which seemed to want to be a 'developing family story' more like original concepts,
yet,
also wanted to be having teen-orientated or 'shock' characters coming and going.
Add to it the Walkers and an injury and then abandoning the concept rules (outside contact, inside info on each other etc),
and,
yeah, that was what hurt what imo was a season with massive potential. it still came off great.
I have it at maybe my 4th fave.

Not thrilled with the winner or 'josie john james' dullmance and thought that hurt the season too but I don't place all too high a value on who wins the season more than the content itself.

Maybe the only thing that still bothers me with BB11 was that it really had so much potential and maybe that is why it felt more disappointing when it did keep making missteps and never quite maintaining the excellence.

Maybe BB should have gone out at BB9 which would have been so sweet a perfect ending going out in great style and excellence,
but,
At least it didn't go out after BB10 where it would leave in shame,
so,
BB11 was a respectable final season and did so much right it feels right enough to leave on that.

Kazanne 02-09-2010 03:34 PM

I liked it for the fact it gave us a chance to see a great character like Ben,I liked most of the people in it most of the time, they weren't perfect, but most ok,I didn't like Daves backstabbing, but sometimes he was funny, just one spoilt it for me big time and i think you all know who that was, lol,It was in the top 3 for me.

no i hated bb9 in the end as it had the worst winner in big brother history and i hated most of b block.

Josy 02-09-2010 03:43 PM

I loved it.

Lex 02-09-2010 04:14 PM

BB3,6,7 and 10 were the standout series in my view. The rest have all been bland in comparison. With BB11 being one of the instantly forgettables.
Of course...like in all of the seasons, there have been memorable characters...Ben Duncan and John James being the greatest from BB11, for very different reasons!
Ben being the epitome of 'elegant-wit' and a thoroughly decent, likeable chap!
John James, on the other hand, a completely 'unsavoury spoilt-brat' that thought that it was a clever plan to be a stand-up guy to the stronger HMs, and a 'bully-boy' to the 'weaker-ones'!...And the fake showmance and tearful-leaving gestures, never go down well with me!...But it was the 'bully's-comeupence' that makes him memorable to me!
After all of his talk and intimidatory tactics that he relished inflicting on his 'carefully-chosen' victims, ...at the first whiff of danger,...he was prepared to 'scale the fence' and run off home to mummy!!
A funny and gratifying BB episode!!

As for the rest of the 'mixed-bag' of 'feckless-wannabes'?,...I'll have forgotten them ....by christmas!

Mac Hiavellian 02-09-2010 04:17 PM

It was quite good.

Sort of back to basics but with a lot of gimmicks on the way.

Could have been bettered with more alcohol, less intervening in arguments, and NO contact with outside world!!!

bbfan1991 02-09-2010 04:31 PM

Quite good, tasks were alright and I preferred the housemates to the ones they had in BB4, BB8, BB9 and BB10.

starry 03-09-2010 07:54 AM

50/50

Too many boring HMs.

housemate 03-09-2010 09:47 AM

Would have been Great without Dave and John James ... really disliked both of them most of the way through.

Visage 03-09-2010 11:41 AM

I absolutely loved it. Not one episode stood out as boring and unentertaining. I loved every one and the tasks, tree of temptation and housemates were great.

stewart64 03-09-2010 12:08 PM

Lost its way in the final few days after the three most important hms...Pepper, Cozza and Crabeyes went. The Mother of all ****** Ups by Channel 4 who had an eviction as opposed to a win vote. Fine on a one against one but on 4 from 8 the best will always attract the votes.

And the outcome was a winner who hads not been tested for eviction, got an easy ride from all the other HMs and crumbled within hours of joining UBB. Yet we had Cozza who was obviously prepared to stand up to torture and was not a walker.

Obviously BB had decided the outcome, wanted Josie to win. channel 4 you ******s be careful what you wish for.

HBB1508 03-09-2010 02:12 PM

50/50 too many walkers that stalled the programme and too much attention on the showmance.

Saph 03-09-2010 03:22 PM

It had its good moments but they picked some awful housmates

Macie Lightfoot 03-09-2010 03:37 PM

It was pretty damn bad.
