that was, what, 7 years ago? everyone makes mistakes in life or messes up once in a while. being cheryl tweedy doesn't make her immune to that. cheryl reached her peak years after all that, so clearly no one cares about it anymore.

Does she have any plans to release this in the US? She's working with alot of American artists on this new album like Rihanna, Ne-Yo, etc. Maybe she'll pull a Taio Cruz and become a hit.

Well there's rumours that after this year's X Factor, she's moving to America to become a judge on the American X Factor so it's very likely she'll want to become a well known singer over there too.

Well she's already famous in the US, but more in a blogged about way.
She's apparently going to be a judge on US X Factor in 2011, which will certainly help her build a music career in the States.

I'd rather Cheryl stays away from XFUS. Someone with actual talent would be preferable. Nicole Scherzinger would be good.

I like Nicole, but I don't think she can sing that well live tbh.
I'm not saying Cheryl has an amazing voice, but I prefer her live vocals to Nicole's.

At least Nicole DOES sing live, half the time Cheryl lip syncs.

And I have yet to hear a live performance from Cheryl that hasn't been ear bleedingly awful or average to the point one wonders how the hell she has a music career.

well one would imagine that what you 'think' should in some way be backed up by fact.

you can have you're opinion and by the same token I can think that your opinion is, well, wrong. but that's neither here nor there.

You don't have any facts that say Nicole is a better singer either.

I know you can think my opinion is wrong, I think yours is wrong. But once again, if I have a different opinion to you, you can't just accept that and move on.

And that doesn't make sense, it is a fact that I think Cheryl is a better singer.

I don't think anyone could really justify Cheryl's vocal ability.
It's common knowledge that she's not a strong singer, nowhere near as good as Nadine or Nicole (who vocally, is actually pretty spectacular).
She's a talented dancer and has a nice tone to her voice at times though.

This don't sound bad, I just grow old of her music so quickly.

I like the sound of Cheryl's singing voice, actually, I just don't think she's all that great at singing. I think she gets a lot of undue anti-hate though. I like the sound of the song.

I find it really hard to believe that someone who came into the business the way she did...can't sing.

Then again, Leon won a 'singing' competition too...and he was rubbish. Looks take you a long way in this industry ;)

Chezza not a great singer.. of course.. she mimes at all her concers or whatever but quite a few pop stars do.

I like Fight for this love and 3 words. Parachute is not a bad song either.

Cheryl is a lovely little pop star and a great a dancer too!

I still like her as a judge on X Factor as well!

Leon was a lazy little sod.. who didn't turn up to his first gig or convert or whatever because he had a "cold".

A debate over wether I think Cheryl's voice is nicer than Nicole's?.. it's my decision!

Heard this on the Chris Moyles Show this morning. Have to be honest, I thought it sounded pretty awful. They kept taking the piss out of it :joker:
