Why no Kate Lawler?
 

I've been analysing the airtime the past 11 winners of BB have had this year.

It seems that everyone except Kate BB3, Rachael BB9, and Sophie BB10 have been on BB in some form or another this year.

Craig BB1 - Takes part on Dermot's last supper, and also a task in UBB
Brian BB2 - Contetant on UBB
Kate BB3 - Nothing
Cameron BB4 - Takes part on Dermot's last supper
Nadia BB5 - Contestant on UBB
Anthony BB6 - Takes part on Dermot's last supper, and also a task in UBB
Pete BB7 - Takes part on Dermot's last supper, and also a task in UBB
Brian BB8 - Takes part on Dermot's last supper
Rachael BB9 - Nothing
Sophie BB10 - Nothing
Josie BB11 - Contestant on UBB

I think it's wrong that Kate Lawler has had no limelight, I mean she was the first ever female winner!

She's doing well for herself and doesnt want to be apart of BB anymore. Very wise

Rachel Rice has been on BBLB a few times the past couple years

Kate wants to keep BB as a distant memory

Sophie was on Come Dine With Me and BBLB during BB11.

Didn't like her...so good!!!!!!!!

Rachel is now a primary school teacher and probs want to keep her publicity low.

Kate has a high paid job on Kerrang Radio and doesnt need to do shows.

I didn't know that about Kate, doing so well. I guess it makes sense she hasn't done any BB stuff. Thanks for clearing that up

From stuff I've read, she wasn't interested in making an appearance. I'd have liked to have seen her.

She's one of my favourite housemates and i think its a bit ungrateful for her not to even acknowledge bb

I liked her in the house but really went off her when she came out. Would she really be doing so well without BB? She should remember where she started, she's the one that has really disappointed me.

Maybe the money they offered didnt cover her expenses.

rachel rice was at a cliff richards fan club convention with the christian sensible womens club and she also has very long black straggly anus hairs that she has to pluck every evening.

sophie was on come dine with me and prefers to stay in sipping orangina under a blanket when shes not working

Kate is ungrateful and wouldn't have a job at Kerrang if it wasn't for Big Brother.

I was also thinking here was no Sree although one quick clip of him looking at someone.

I have to imagine there must have been plenty of former-HMs who would rather have nothing to do with BB ever again and wish it were never known they were there.. or they simply wish never to be in anything associated anymore.

Rachel's a Grade 9 teacher; not primary. She wanted to go on Davina's Big Send Off for example and BBLB, as she was invited, but couldn't go because of teaching obligations. She watched the whole final though. She loves Big Brother :)

I'm sure Rachel's been involved in UBB multiple times and we just didn't notice..

Oh.. i would notice her. The only way they snuck her past us was covering that body in a tent and her face in a mask.. oh and then making the clip about .00001th of a second long.

Oh well.. she is forever burned into my memory so I will always have that :)

Kate is not ungrateful to BB. She has just moved on from it. It was 7-8 years ago.

She's worked constantly since her win and is just wisely trying to distance herself from the usual BB HM wannabes. Who, lets face it, are considered to be the lowest form of life in the celebrity world.

I think its admirable that she has resisted being back in the limelight...and probably a decent amount of cash. But she never was a fame***** type.

i agree.. it seems to me that the same reason Kate won BB in the first place is the same reason why she's not returned to it!

Kate is one of the best BB winners ever. I think she didn't want to make an appearance because she's doing really well for herself at the moment with Kerrang and doesn't need the media attention/publicity which comes with appearing on BB.

I loved her as a housemate. BB3 rocks :D

She probably didn't want to be involved, i suppose she thinks she's too good for the program now.

they have zero charisma or star quality, and neither was a nice person in my opinion. Maybe I'll be proved wrong in the future though i don't know...

No, I just think she's worked really hard proving her worth and that she's more than just another BB wannabe. Not easy to do.

To go running back to it now would just take her back to square one. She doesnt need it and BB doesnt really need her....although they obviously asked. So its all good.

Maybe Kate was not very enamoured with BB seeing as she was the winner but someone else in her series got all the publicity and wealth and was feted by the BB staff.

It seems a little ungrateful she had nothing to do with UBB but she was a hijacker back on BB:CH so maybe she was just very busy and did want to contribute something.

Rachael has just settled back in to her old life by focusing on her career as a primary school teacher, while Sophie was on BB Come Dine With Me - and ended up with Brian Belo touching her lower back at the dinner table

I can't understand why this has run to 2 pages - Kate has a REAL job on radio and not interested in BB.

The UBBs were unemployed nobodies. Brian's last TV job was presenting a phone-in for dosh quiz @ 1am on ITV - even that folded.
