What piercings do you have & pain scale?

How many piercings do you have and how much did they hurt out of 10 (10 being the worst pain you've ever felt).

I have:

- Cartilage (top of the ear) - 1/10
- Tragus 4/10

Used to have:

- Ear lobe - 2/10
- Eyebrow - 3/10
- Tongue - 1.5/10

Kerry 16-09-2010 01:22 AM

Both ears twice and the top of my right ear once.

Scale - a scratch. Noticed but barely

Vicky. 16-09-2010 01:23 AM

eyebrow 2...3 second time round
belly button 2
ear at the top 2
tongue 1
ear at bottom...6. The gun didnt work, got stuck on cartilage or something so she pushed it through with her finger :(

Kerry 16-09-2010 01:23 AM

Oh but wear none now.

Mine was similar, my ear lobes are really thick and the woman had to push mine through the back! I can't really remember the pain now as it was about 13 years ago but I do remember causing a fuss over it! It eventually nearly put me in hospital after getting seriously infected because the back of the stud was too tight and was beginning to sink into my ear!

ILoveTRW 16-09-2010 01:29 AM

Nothing - 0/10

Keithhhhh 16-09-2010 05:38 AM

Nipple - Probably about 7/10 for a split second, but overall I'd say 4.5/10
Lip which I did my self a few years ago with a safety pin - 3/10

My friend pulled threw her duvet off one morning but unfortunately it had somehow got tangled up in her belly button ring and she ripped it right out! Makes me shudder!

I took them out about a week later though due to infection.

That's very true, it's very common now but I've had mine for years when around here it was still very "I can't believe you've had THERE pierced" kind of thing.

Hoping to get a Conch piercing soon ('inside' of your ear):

Any more on ye Rach? I did compliment above

Stacey. 16-09-2010 03:22 PM

None. Never will either. Piercings are vile imo, just look tacky.

Chels 16-09-2010 03:36 PM

Ear lobes - 1/10 literally felt nothing but a pinch and a real loud noise
Top of right ear - 2/10 had this done last month, same as above really but had trouble afterwards

Smithy 16-09-2010 03:38 PM

I don't have any, doubt I'll ever get one either, I'd just play with it and end up ripping half my ear off or something

Nahh more into tattoos. Piercings are too annoying.. i've lost my lip rings and studs so many times
did wana stretch my ears but they kept getting infected so i stay away from ear piercings.
might get septum or bridge done at some point though

Boothy 16-09-2010 08:05 PM

None and I don't want one. Not big on piercings or body modification in general tbh.

I think you'll live to regret the tatoos Rach, but that's just my idea. When I was right into the Claymores team I almost got a liittle Claymores symbol done on the top of arm in Amsrerdam one day when drunken. In hindsight, I'm glad I didn't.

At nite clubs where I live all girls tend to have tatoos. As a sarcatic joke I invented the chat-up line "Hi darling, and where is your tatoo?"

So long as you're happy honey-bun

At what age will you allow your daughter to get her ears pierced Lee? Or already done? What if she wants more? Will mum stop?

Funnily enough she was asking me last night when she could have hers done.. I don't know what's an acceptable age to start wearing earrings?! There's a few girls in her class that have theirs done and her cousins who are tha same age have too, so no doubt I'm going to start getting nagged soon!

Talkin of pain/piercings/tattos.. Having my ears pierced was a dawdle, but I nearly passed out from the pain of having a tattoo done.. never ever again!! Gimme childbirth anyday!

Claymores 17-09-2010 09:28 AM

And where is your tatoo Lee?

It's one of the 'easiest' piercings to get actually in terms of pain/discomfort because they don't pierce through the meat of your tongue. Your tongue is made up of two pieces of 'meat' or muscle whatever it is connected together in the centre by 'skin', which is what is pierced. It just slides right through so easily, you can feel it if you rub the underside of your tongue the two bumps where the piercing is centred between. I actually didn't know this until the piercer pointed it out because I thought the tongue was one big piece of meat!

It can swell up alot after for a few days but your saliva tackles all the bacteria and cleans it for you on top of using mouthwash and stuff, plus it's not obvious to others really.

I loved mine but had to take it out because it had been pierced too far forward and kept banging my front teeth and I was afraid of chipping them! I'd have it done again though no problem.

BOOSH 18-09-2010 07:45 AM

Nahhh i wont regret my tattoos. When I look back on then it will remind me that 'I really ****ing wanted that when I was younger' so why would i regret it?

On the side of my foot Ian.. but it's crap and about a quarter of the size it should have been as I couldn't take the pain and told the tattooist to stop... but he wouldn't let me leave with just a line on my foot so I agreed to let him continue if he just made it tiny! hahahaha

Claymores 18-09-2010 09:23 AM

Awww - I was hoping for a ruder place!

Tom 18-09-2010 11:07 AM

Piercings just look skanky to me apart from ear lobes, but I don't understand people who stretch their ears, thats just freaky and it will bite them on the bum when they get older and take them out

I believe tattos will get worse - wrinkly skin tatoo on an 80 year old - but don't wanna argue with BOOSH so better shut-up

Jords 18-09-2010 12:22 PM

I did have a left stud when I was in year 6 to year 7, stopped wearing it because you couldnt wear jewerlly at school so it sealed up. About 2/10 Id say, I was really scared but it was nothing.

I dont fancy any piercings, but would like a tattoo.. what I dont know.
