I think this is probably the only instance of real bullying on BB ever

Nikki's comment at 02:42 is particularly disgusting. I've heard people mention it before but never actually heard the clip.

BB_Eye 18-09-2010 03:17 PM

What about this?

I found it absolutely hilarious.

Of course it's bullying, but it's BB. *shrug*

Vicky. 18-09-2010 03:27 PM

Yeah. He did bring a lot on himself but it was disgusting the way the whole house turned on him like that :(

BB_Eye 18-09-2010 03:29 PM

I find it hard to believe anybody who watched BB through the years would just switch off in one isolated incident. The show is a popularity contest, bullying behaviour is very common.

Also this is Channel 4 we're talking about. A Channel known to promote bullying with shows like Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares and 10 Years Younger. Come on, smell the coffee.

Even Saint Pete sat back and watched

the treatment of Sam(BB7) was inexcusable. That's what blew my mind bout all the accusations of "transphobia" (i love how the automatic spell check on TiBB is flagging up this word, because it's NOT a REAL word) during UBB with Nadia, i was like, ummm, did anyone SEE BB7 ????

Shabaz incident was not bullying, he knew exactly what he was doing the whole time, he said on many occasions he knew he was on a TV show, and he was playing up to the cameras. i have no sympathy for Shabaz.

Saint Pete sat back and watched everything. He did sod all in that series.

Jords 18-09-2010 03:31 PM

There have been quite a few cases of bullying in BB imo.

The word does get thrown around too quickly, but I also find some people are igorant about it when it actually happens simply because they like the bully or dont like the person being bullied.

I found it funny at the time, but looking back it's pretty horrible really. That said, it made good TV.

lostalex 18-09-2010 03:33 PM

Bullying on BB????

After I scratch my balls, my hand stinks. What else is new?

brian3 18-09-2010 03:34 PM

I can actuly remember "journalists" in some of the newspapers saying they where glad Sam was being bullied.

Can't clearly remember, but obviously not enough for them to stop. It wasn't just Lesley either. Derek, Roberto, Craig, Vanessa and Makosi were all complete dicks to her for no apparent reason, although she later befriended Makosi.

lostalex 18-09-2010 03:38 PM

i was talking about Sam from BB7, the other transexual. Not the Sam from BB6 who cried over her makeup purse being hidden.

Raph 18-09-2010 03:38 PM

Yeah that was really mean, even though Shabaz was a creep.

brian3 18-09-2010 03:41 PM

I fotgot just how vile Lea could be

M X 18-09-2010 03:41 PM

It won't work for me. What did she say?

But I dont see that as bullying :S

They hid her makeup bag, she gave as good as she got, and it was only a bit of an argument. Unless I'm missing something?

Just because someone bigger than you shouts at you, it doesnt make it bullying.

Watch the rest of it. It's in two or three parts.
http://www.nartube.net/10cd8a55d5:I0hIyHm3jrM.html
Lesley: "One day, you're gonna get the s**t knocked out of ya for the way ya speak to people"
Sam: "I'd stop making threats if I were you"
Lesley: "If I were threatening ya, you'd know all about it, love"
http://www.nartube.net/10b8a4d291:fZ7uISDZDuU.html
Lesley: "Don't tell me to shut up Sam, because I don't give a ****** if I leave here on friday, because when I get out I'll be waiting for you, love"

Raph 18-09-2010 03:48 PM

Lea and Richard were the two vilest things to ever come out of BB. I hate Siavash, but when I see these two, I beg to differ. Nasty people.

Also when she was yelling at Sam, she burped right into her face. Ugh. Lea is actually my most hated Big Brother housemate ever.

That was only the beginning. She hadn't argued with anybody or anything up until that point. Craig and Vanessa assisted her in hiding the make-up bag and everybody agreed to keep quiet, even though they saw the whole thing. Lesley then demanded an apology from Sam when she found it, keeping up the pretence that she had nothing to do with it, despite everyone's knowledge to the contrary (all in harmless fun I'm sure) and became abusive when she refused.

Then there is the rest which happened later. The threats, bitching, isolating her.

lostalex 18-09-2010 04:23 PM

lesly BB6 was vile, but i think the most rude thing, and uncalled for was the way Derek treated her. Remember when she(Sam BB6) was cooking all day, and Derek came into the kitchen area, she asked him a simple question, like, do you think i've had it on long enuf? and he said something like "i believe so" and she just flippently said, "okay thank you, you can go now, thanks... :) "

And then you see Derek's face change and he was like "WHAT DID YOU SAY?" "DON'T TELL ME I CAN GO NOW, IT'S MY HOUSE TOO, I'LL GO WHEREVER I LIKE" :nono:

and Sam BB6 looked absolutely mortified, and didn't know how to respond, she was like "are you joking"? :conf:

and he was like "NO, WHY WOULD I JOKE ABOUT THIS YOU SILLY STUPID LITTLE GIRL"

Derek was truly awful to her.

Captain.Remy 18-09-2010 04:37 PM

One of the many reasons why BB7 is my least favourite series EVER.

The cast was nasty. I mean, not BB6 fun nasty, PROPER nasty, vile, pathetic, not funny, ridiculous, full of psychopathic autistic freaks and terribly fake. I sometimes wish they were bad actors which would give me hope in this cast but no, they are real horrible people and it's the most frightening part about it.

Yeah, I actually found it hilarious at the time, because it was such a shockingly inappropriate reaction, but Derek really did hate her.

This is why I never really warmed to anyone in BB7 other than Aisleyne (since she joined after this) - every single one of them treated Shahbaz like crap: even the "nice" guys, George and Richard. It was only natural for him to do what he did next.

But I agree with what Rémy said: the cast were horrible, disgusting, conceited people. Imogen, Sezer, Grace, Mikey, Nikki, George, Lea, even Richard (who I'd cite as a favourite) were all incredibly nasty.

Braden 18-09-2010 06:59 PM

I know it's wrong, but I did laugh abit when he tried to have a careless attitude :p

I thought the way Darnell treated Sara was pretty crude to.

Braden 18-09-2010 07:00 PM

And Lesley was a right dick!

Braden 18-09-2010 07:06 PM

Oh my god, i'm watching all these arguments and I have to say the Saskia vs. Mary one was pretty hard to watch, when Saskia started shouting and got up to follow Mary and got in her face, something should of been done about that...The way she thought she was talking to a four year old is beyond me.

iRyan 18-09-2010 07:33 PM

It was bullying, but honestly Shahbaz brought it upon himself. He hid all of their food and ruined it, it's no suprise they all turned on him. If he didn't want to be treated that way, he should have apologized and stopped behaving the way that he was. I remember him being quite nasty to other people, calling them names and stuff.

But Richard was probably the ringleader of the bullying though, he took it too far some times.

KingPrawn 16-10-2010 06:50 PM

So what about Sophie being bullied by Jade, Adele and Tim in BB3?

What about Sam being bullied by Lesley?

These were far more clear cut evidence of bullying. Far more

King Gizzard 16-10-2010 06:51 PM

For me, Dennis and co's treatment of Mo was the worst
