With all this Cheryl hate you are overlooking something...
She did make some bad decisions but she did put the best singer in the category through... Rebecca.
|
Dont think so Gamu was
|
Spot on. Gamu & Treyc were good but nothing we havent seen on XF before. Rebecca is different
|
Agreed. I find Gamu very overrated judging by how many threads there are about her not being picked. Rebecca is much better in my opinion but if she wasn't picked I couldn't see there being this much outrage. Very underrated.

I think the Gamu situation has been amplified by 1000000000000000 because she was edited to be up against Katie

only rebecca is a decent singer out of the girls.

Really???? Gamu is fantastic, I can't believe people here are saying she can't sing??!!!
|
Agree with this, as much as I liked Gamu and wanted her through, Rebecca has been my favourite since her audition, she's a star.

Last year it was Lloyd and Rikki over Duane, really?! Katie's sh!te and seems to have a really feeble fan base. God knows what Cheryl was thinking. Agreed that Rebecca is the best singer in that catergory. |
Why does everyone beat around the bush?
Either Cheryl or the producers insisted only one black girl be let through. It's pure racism in this case. You can't argue with that. Should have been three black girls in Cheryl's group without question. |

Gamu was okay but she was nothing new, and had no confidence, people get on at leona for being boring, then like gamu? lol.

And there it is.. Anyway, Cher was destined to go through the amount of press over her etc.. she was always going through.. She would be fantastic in the charts. The other 2 that went out were a bit samey to what we have.. |

Now Mr Paparazzi adds Cheryl was told not to put her through due to Visa troubles
http://www.mrpaparazzi.com/post/1281...-Troubles.aspx Yeah right why didn't they just do it the way they always do when someone doesn't have the visa or right age, they televise them going through the process or at least show something about why they were to leave the programme. Like on Irish popstars when Nadine lied about her age and said she couldn't remember her date her birth:joker: Bull crap!! I hope nobody believes this crap. Hate the bitch! :D |

In fact I saw nothing at all,so for me they should have been cast aside as not ready, not willing and even not able to compete this year. The only thing they could have done less was not bother to go to the judges house at all, we wouldn't have missed a single thing if they hadn't from all they didn't do once they were there and had the opportunity to impress. |
I hate Rebecca's voice. To me that is not singing, it's putting ridiculous strain on your voice as well as a silly American accent to try and sound like an older woman with soul. She's from Liverpool - she doesn't have soul. I hate the fact that so many contestants feel the need to put this American accent into their singing - it sounds ****ing stupid.

For good or for bad Cher has been the star of the show so far this year, and Katie has divided public opinion just like Jedward did. |

Seriously though, if we are to believe that the visa issue was true (and xf producers deny it), then why did Cheryl act her way through telling Gamu she hadn't made it on ability alone? Truth is that Cheryl 'appeared' to care more about Tracey C and the others who didn't survive her cull. |

Katie was a very poor choice because she messed up ALL of her auditions but i think it's time to just let it go... I personally would have put through Kerri. |

She's got a fantastic voice and you can still hear her accent imo. |
I don't get this 'she had tonsillitis' for goodness sake, okay that would have impeded her voice but it wouldn't stop her 'performing' the song and showing she could remember the words at least.
She only had to sing for barely 2 to 3 minutes, she hadn't lost her voice, she didn't have laryngitis, nothing in Tonsillitis would stop her at least performing the song, allowances could have been made that her voice would not be as strong as usual due to tonsillitis but people make hour long speeches with Tonsillitis. In a University, any student saying I cant make my presentation today because I have Tonsillitis would be laughed out the room. It was hardly a taxing song she had, and she could have kept ini the soft area of her voice but still performed the thing. She stood there and did nothing at all. Therefore failed by herself not due to Tonsillitis. |

Katie has spoken of being friends with presenter Dermot O'Leary's radio producer Simon Ward. In another interview, conducted when she had her own reality show, she claimed ex-judge Sharon Osbourne - now helping Louis Walsh - had praised her singing after seeing her perform. Katie also joined singing binman Andy Abraham on tour after he was a runner-up in the show's second series. X Factor bosses came under pressure to disqualify her when it emerged she'd signed a US record deal under the name Lola Fontaine. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage...r-madness.html She had a realitly show?! |
