It seems Jamie's attempt at Hollywood didn't work out then, The Bill's been axed so he's returning. Paul Marquess is turning this show into Footballer's Wives, honest to god it goes from bad to worse.

We'll probably get a report next week that Louise woke up inside the laundry basket and Roxanne will return at Christmas lol

Yeah, I mean it was good when Warren had a bit of family about and stuff, but can't see him fitting anywhere, is there even anyone he knew still in it? It would be like Justin coming back or something, just pointless

Exactly, the past six months have well and truly moved the show passed the Warren/Justin/Hannah/Clare/Max/Louise era of the show. Don't know why he'd come back now, the last characters relevant to him were he Valentines and they've gone.

I suppose we should be grateful he didn't come back as the one who shot Calvin.

I watched about 2 mins of this the other night and it was like a completely different show, the only people left are the McQueens and even they've changed :\

Its obvious that the ratings are terrible and the revamp hasn't helped so they're now bringing back older characters. I bet Clare comes back as well

He'll probably do a Dirty Den and be killed off again within the next two years.

Hollyoaks will probably show a recap of the events what happened during that episode then do the twist that is promised, they are good at that kind of thing.. thinking outside the box compared to the other soaps;).

Yes with Dirty Den but with Hollyoaks, viewers actually saw Warren Fox die but now with this twist they will need to show how he escaped and also to explain it to those viewers who switched off last year when Lucy Allan was in charge;).

That's the thing, we saw him die, to bring him back is just silly, and defies reality, even soap reality

This is the only recent storyline I don't liek the sound of, I can't see him sticking around as he has no links.

Every soap has been unrealistic at some point though.. Hollyoaks have done this before with Scott Anderson, who I actually think was a better bad boy than Warren.

True but there are a few that will recognise Warren, he will just have to terrorise the new characters LOL:D.

On another note Chez Chez has already been used as a bar's name is a soap... When Cheryl Stark on Neighbours bought The Waterhole at Lassiters she renamed it Chez Chez :D

What is Chris fountain doing now? And a Warren and Justin comeback would make a lot more sense, like they somehow crossed paths after they both left. Decided to come take back Hollyoaks or something lol Then again, Justin would still not know anybody either.

I'd like to know what happened to Louise, I don't think we ever found out and she was never confirmed as dead

I remember Carmel being the only one in the village grieving when they found out. But I've only just realised that Warren's return will be a bit of a damp squid considering there is no one left to be surprised by his return.
When Clare came back after she faked her death it was pretty much the same because the people involved in her "death" Max/OB/Louise/Justin/Katy had all already left the show.

Although, just heard another past character is returning at Christmas so maybe Louise will come back. Or Mandy possibly.

I remember the laundry basket (but we never saw her in it) and I can remember seeing her just lay there (but could be unconscious because we never saw her face). I stopped watching soon after so I dunno if it ever came out or if she got a funeral

From what i've seen on his Twitter he is doing some Theatre work etc, still it is nice to have some of the Kirkwood era back.. I just hope some of the promising things i've seen coming up live up to the hype;).

Notorious gangster Warren was last seen on screen in May 2009 when he was seemingly killed in the Loft fire, started by the crazed Clare Devine (Gemma Bissix).

But Warren makes a shock return to Hollyoaks Village in the coming weeks and, in special flashback scenes, viewers will get to see how he managed to escape the blaze and flee Hollyoaks, allowing everyone to think he was dead.

Warren's reasons for returning remain unclear and viewers will have to watch to find out why he's back... and what he wants.

Bosses at the Channel 4 soap had hoped to keep Warren's return a secret - but when Jamie turned up on set, it proved impossible.

Hollyoaks series producer Paul Marquess commented: "When Warren Fox died in the Loft fire we all thought that was the end of the dangerous gangster that terrorised the residents of Hollyoaks village.

"But when our writer's made the shocking suggestion to bring back Warren in a juicy plot it was just too irresistible to ignore as they not only made it feasible that Warren could have escaped the fire and fled the village, they created an explosive and very clever plot with lots of twists and turns that guaranteed to have the audience hooked.

"When the idea was pitched to Jamie he knew it was too good an opportunity to miss. Warren Fox was one of soap's most memorable villains and we're very excited about his return."

Jamie returns to Hollyoaks as Warren on Friday, October 29th
