Yes Sick in your tummy
over this binned ticket by your stupid partner.

GypsyGoth 19-10-2010 06:49 PM

I think she is lying.

Mystic Mock 19-10-2010 06:51 PM

her husband is a dickhead if its true.

Zippy 19-10-2010 06:52 PM

Oh well.

She'll get another chance I'm sure. :)

MTVN 19-10-2010 06:53 PM

So she let her husband keep it for safe-keeping even though he had a habit of losing things?

I agree with GypsyGoth, she's probably lying, and if she's not there should be a way for her to prove it.

M X 19-10-2010 06:58 PM

You would be literally devastated.

But by now with such a Mega Ticket
it would have been claimed - even without going Public,
we would have been told that.

So I think its sadly true.

As that money is not claimed they can do another 100million friday Euro lottery
soon

Lucy. 19-10-2010 07:33 PM

What she talking about? I won the lottery! Unfortunately my pet frog ate the ticket but it's all good cause I have written the numbers down in my notebook!

Stephanie 19-10-2010 07:37 PM

why didn't she just get it out of the bin :L

Stacey. 19-10-2010 07:43 PM

I believe she's telling the truth..

sooty
what would you do to your Husband
if he chucked your Lottery ticket away.

_Seth 19-10-2010 08:16 PM

If he supposedly looses everything she gives him, she deserved that. :) I'm not joking, the stupid b!tch shouldn't have given it to him.

That's why I think it's bull, why would she let him have it "for safekeeping" if he always loses things.

If she is telling the truth then she can still claim the prize if she can prove it, say what time she bought it and where from etc.

Beso 19-10-2010 08:40 PM

I would be sending begging letters.

Jords 19-10-2010 08:46 PM

You would feel sooo sick!

bettiepage 19-10-2010 08:49 PM

I'd kill myself. I really would.

MTVN 20-10-2010 04:35 PM

Yep, she was lying, the ticket's now been claimed

arista 20-10-2010 04:44 PM

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...-paid-out.html

Yes I would not make it Public.
Just move away.

Benjamin 20-10-2010 04:45 PM

That lying old bitch, lol. :)

Stacey. 20-10-2010 04:54 PM

I don't see what the point was in claiming it, she blatantly wasn't gonna get the money anyway without the ticket to prove it.

If someone else did not claim it within 180 days

Then that Sly old Women could have taken the lot.

With So Much Won
Best not to go public
just move out of the area.

I would buy a Island.

Yeah, I've always wondered why the huge lottery winners dont stay anonymous. I know I would do it to avoid all the attention, and to stop people begging for money or stealing it.

_Seth 20-10-2010 05:23 PM

arista, seriously anyone could claim a lottery win. You'd just have to be first and hope no-one else claims it.

Its not exactly as simple as saying you had the ticket but lost it.

You have to wait the full 180 days to see if someone else claims you.

You also have to prove the likelihood that it was bought by you. Naming the location and approximate time and date you bought it at. You also have to tell them if it was a lucky dip or numbers you picked. (If you get a lucky dip ticket it is recorded as being lucky dip).

Camelot have paid out on large wins when tickets have been lost or defaced in the past. Provided adequate proof was provided that the supposed claimant did buy the ticket.

Why would she need the ticket? If she knows which outlet she bought the ticket from (and that information hasn't been released yet so how else would she know?) then there will be a record of the sale from that machine which can be verified. Even better if she can pinpoint roughly the time and date which only she would know.

InOne 20-10-2010 05:59 PM

I play the Lottery online. So much easier.

arista 20-10-2010 05:59 PM

Yes angus
but they give 180days.

And Now the Real Ticket owner
has Cashed in the Ticket
