Loose Members

premier of the opening titles

Hello and welcome to Loose Members!
I'm your host for today's opening show, Patrick and let's find out what we'll be discussing today!

So let's get started,

The first thing we'll be talking about today is Men and Women's different attitudes towards Sex.

Steven Fry has said that women don't enjoy Sex as much as men because it's more about the love for them, and men actually NEED Sex, do you think this is true?

What do our panel think of this?

[If you're online and signed up last night and you're name is in those titles please discuss now]

I'll put your names on the titles though after today's show :)

Lee. 02-11-2010 04:12 PM

Right.. men and women? Sex?

Yeah I think there is a huge difference in attitude between m and f towards not only sex, but love, intimacy and commitment.

Do you think men need sex alot more than a woman does?

I was quite surprised when I heard this mentioned on the TV this morning, they kind of made it sound like men would die without it.

Miss Ivy Balls 02-11-2010 04:13 PM

I think that men often just want a shag. Shove it in, give it a twirl, spunk their stuff and off they go to find the next shag.

Women like to feel treated well, and not just the next piece of meat.

Not everyone is like this, but it does happen.

It should be about the connection. Those signals, and also having sex, but not the need for it constantly.

Good Point Thomas.

An interesting fact I heard is that men actually think about sex at least every 9 seconds or so.

I'm not sure if women would be like this?

Ah I see, Well you're welcome to join in the discussion :D

Miss Ivy Balls 02-11-2010 04:17 PM

Arista are you actually on the panel or are you just going to spam the thread with stupid three liners in your 'let's start a new line after every fourth word'.

*security please remove him!!!!*

Lol.. I think a lot of men think they WILL die without it.

And yes, I do think men need sex more than women. Lets face it, it's all they really think about! :)

I reckon women (I'm talking in very general terms obviously) enjoy sex but have more of a need for affection, closeness and commitment.

Women can be the same. I have a couple of so-called 'mates' and they're like beasts.

For some people it is all about the 'SEX'. I can just happily use my hand and a box of tissues.

I'm not going to go and shag anyone and I think that some people's views are like that.

Are we not considered to be normal because we'd like to wait until we find that connection?

Don't get me wrong, I've snogged the throat of a girl I thought was rancid, but I was drunk and trying to decline, but she forced me in. I felt rather uncomfortable.

Good points from everyone on that topic.

*Claps*

We have to move onto the next discussion now,

It's DayBreak the 'newish' daytime talk show.

It took over from GMTV not too long ago and now ratings have falling to an all time low, The presenter of it Christine Blakely has said she even had to put her workout DVD aside to attend more Crisis meetings with the producers.

What do you all think?

Should they axe this pointless show and bring back GMTV? It is the definition of the word FAIL.

I don't think they should of 'fixed' GMTV when it wasn't broken.

Niall 02-11-2010 04:21 PM

*Swaggers in*

Yeah I guess thats true. Men have certain fluids they need to empty.

Callum 02-11-2010 04:23 PM

I think men need sex often and don't see sex as something special but lots of women do think of sex as special and they generally do not think that having a strong sex drive is essential to a good relationship

Lee. 02-11-2010 04:23 PM

Hmm.. I have never watched Daybreak to be honest. I take it it's ****e??

GMTV is sh!te anyways. BBC Breakfast is a million times better.

They should axe GMTV imo.

I've never watched it either, I might record it and give it a shot just to see what the big deal is about it being so boring.

I mean, has anyone else on the panel watched it?

I've only heard about DayBreak recently.

You don't need to fix something that isn't broken.

GMTV was well known so to replace it or try to fix something that isn't broken is a big risk.

Daybreak changes
its doing OK.

We need a Ch4 Big Wild Breakfast show
as well.

Lee. 02-11-2010 04:25 PM

Bring back The Big Breakfast with Johhny Vaughan and whatsherface??

Oh.. what is her name again?

Oh Denise Van Outen

Ahh.. them were the days

Miss Ivy Balls 02-11-2010 04:26 PM

I've not seen DayBreak and I didn't watch GMTV either so not a great loss to me.

I think it will impact more on the people who turn it on when they've got to get up early for work.

No they are booked elsewhere.

They could try Richard Bacon and a Young Lady.

I never saw big breakfast.

But Jonny Vaughan is real annoying on capital breakfast in the morning anyways. Always singing that showery rain song :bored:

Callum 02-11-2010 04:28 PM

I have watched Daybreak and I didn't enjoy it. I really liked Christine and Adrian as presenters prior to Daybreak but now I'm sick to death of them. It's a poor show. The set itself is really cold and unwelcoming and all the reporters are dull and stiff apart from one or two (i.e. Kate Garraway). The 'something cool before the kids go to school' segment is laughable and really cringeworthy that they consider an act like Alexandra Burke, N-Dubz and a girl with spinning hoops as 'something cool'. Hope it's gone soon!

I was watching a programme the other night. Denise Van Outen and Fearne Cotton were doing that walk for people with breast cancer. It was an interesting watch and rather touching.

Very quickly need to bounce onto our next discussion,

[The show was meant to end at half past but nothing wrong with going a little overtime seeing as we started late]

I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!

It's been announced to begin, Is it the 14?

Yeah it is, a 90 minute long launch show.

It's the 10th series and the producers said they want to go all out, then again that's what they said when Big Brother reached it's 10th Series.

What kind of celebrities are you hoping to see in the jungle this year?

And is there any new ideas for bush tucker trials you have in mind?

arista 02-11-2010 04:29 PM

"I never saw big breakfast."

Honestly, him and DVO were cracking together on The Big Breakfast.. You know when you just get two presenters that have a spark together? They REALLY had that

Oh wish I'd saw it then :(

Like I said, he is on radio now and he is very annoying D:

Lee. 02-11-2010 04:32 PM

Oh I can't wait for IAC! I've heard rumours of Chico and Jedward so far, and although all of the above are highly irritating, I think they would make for good viewing!

I like contetants who make me laugh... David Guest is my all time player. He was just insanely hilarious.

So yeah, crazy funny people for me please :)

Very excited for this!

That is true so I'm not getting my hopes up for anything spectacular.

Hmm I would love to see some big name celebs go in but they can't afford them obviously so I just hope to see some "celebs" who will cause a bit of friction and good TV. :)
