Katie deserves support
 

Where as some of the contestants have had their egos and heads expanded to the size of pumpkins just in time for Halloween, the only head swelling that Katie might be suffering from is the vindictive head kicking she has received at the hands of her critics. No wonder she was so emotional in her sing off last week, and a bloody brilliant performance it was. Much to the chagrin of her critics who derive pleasure from her fading star.

Look she is no longer full of herself, and when she does sing it is not indulgent or the performance of a braggart. Trust in Me and I want to Be Like you were just beautiful.

Contrast that to the possibly more talented Matt and Treyc who have got so indulgent showcasing their massive talents and egos that some of their songs are not that easy to listen to.

Let's get behind Katie this weekend and keep her out of the bottom two.

Katie is not as good as anybody on the show besides Wagner so no I won't be supporting her.

I think she is out of her depth on this show,I also think she is always close to the bottom2 and I think the publics mood is she is not a contender so will be soon gone.It will really depend who is in the last 2 with her on the weeks she is.
Clearly this week if Katie and Wagner were the last 2, the judges would sling out Wagner even though it would be his first week there.

Exactly, besides Wagner there is no one, she could or should beat in a sing off.

On the singing front you might be right, although I find her very easy to listen to and enjoy her performances.

I think she is a great personality, but she has lost a little of that magic as negative press and results have told on her confidence.

It would be nice if she got a boost this weekend and wasn't in the bottom two again. I feel for the girl.

Well, I think you're in a minority with that opinion tbh, not only do I think her voice isn't up to it, I find her extremely irritating and her melodramatics annoying.

I'm just hoping that there are enough fans out there that have ''fallen'' for her melodramatics to keep her in this week. She has suckered me in anyway.

You will see on Saturday how great she is when she bounces back with the best performance ever witnessed on X factor, Matt and Cher will be in the bottom two in the biggest turn around ever.. and from then on Katie will keep topping the votes.. it's pretty predictable what will happen because it's her destiny.

No, it was not anywhere near 'brilliant' and was, at best, just good enough.

No. they were mediocre. The songs themselves are pretty but her singing was not beautiful.

I am not behind Katie but I'd rather see the boy band and the agonizing Aiden disappear this week.

2011 is her year, she will have about 2 #1's and she will even go number #1 in America.. meanwhile Niamho, Simonsays and the other people that don't believe in her will be throwing themselves of a cliff because she will be appearing on every music channel going, I wouldn't be surprised if her single was the fastest selling ever actually.

After her music Career is over ( and it won't be for a long time yet ) People will be debating for years to come if she was the greatest ever obviously most people will say she was to no great suprise. She will also go on to star in massive box office hits and have a star in the hollywood walk of fame.

In fact, she will have a decent shot at some degree of fame in Hollywood. Not only because she is a tribe member but very importantly she is a blond 'aryan' jewess who can sing and is quite thin and has some 'european sophistication' (i stress this is how hollywood people see this).

You have said some silly things since you have joined this forum but this is by far the most stupidest post i have ever seen.. Where do i start with this one

1) Matt, the guy with no confidence at all, looks like he should be on a farm somewhere down south feeding the cows... this week will be his worst performance yet.. he will sound like a dying cat.

2) All this talk about Katie not rehearsing is a complete cover to throw people of track, really she is about to give us the best performance that has ever been given. She will be topping the votes by a good 15-20%

Lily looks like a charity shop worker and Katie looks like a superstar so of course she is much better then Lily

Katie reminds me of the 'floaters' we can often see sitting in 4th and 5th place in a Big Brother Final. People wonder why 'boring ___' is sitting there but its actually because they were entirely 'unremarkable' and so tepid or neither offensive or inoffensive.
So the 'bigger fish to fry' get taken out by voters. The truly dreadful get taken out.

So yeah, I compared Katie to a room-temperature cup of Tesco-brand tea and some artificial sweetener.
Not bad.
Nothing worth complaining about so much.
