What Would Be Your Funeral Song?
Ok, so not the nicest of topics, but have you ever thought what song you would like played as a final farewell to your friends and family?
I would want this song, just such an amazng and emotional piece that makes me feel down, yet makes me feel on top of the world, lol. |
Was just listening to that earlier ^^
I want The Waterboys' "Whole of the Moon played at mine |
Hmm never really thought about it tbh. One of my teacher's was saying that he went to a funeral, and as they were lowering the coffin into the ground they played the Countdown music
I'm not sure if I'd want sometime upbeat or more emotional, maybe Don't Look Back in Anger or something like that |

For fun which I love - Living in a box
For my family I'd like a poem read - Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep. I am in a thousand winds that blow, I am the softly falling snow. I am the gentle showers of rain, I am the fields of ripening grain. I am in the morning hush, I am in the graceful rush Of beautiful birds in circling flight, I am the starshine of the night. I am in the flowers that bloom, I am in a quiet room. I am in the birds that sing, I am in each lovely thing. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there. I do not die. |
You are all very depressing it is like being in death's waiting room here

Try reading between the lines and break away from such uninventive and lacklustre thinking. Poetry is more than just the words that you see at first glance. |

I can't give you the meaning you get from the poem, but to me it represents that even though you pass from this world, you are still alive in people's memories and hearts. |
