The comment left about the article is very telling.

Why does the Mirror have this blatant vendetta against Matt Cardle? His ex GF has given an interview pleading to be left alone to get on with her NEW relationship and begging the papers to stop linked her to Matt. The pic is of two people posing for a photo - whats suggestive about that. And after writing all that fantasy, the last line tells us the truth. I thought last weeks performance was awesome,but I have liked all his performances,the one I wasn't too keen on was 'Bleeding love' but he still did a good job imo.

Theres never been any proof that Katie said that apart from supposed ''sources'' in a newspaper and we all know not to believe everything we read in them. Of course some are blind in their dislike of Katie that they believe all these negative stories are true, then when it comes to negative stories of Matt oh it's not true.

All the contestants are going to get negative criticism but it's best to keep an open mind;).

It's not true (like all the tabloid trash stories that come out) but I can see why they've put paid to the rumours quicker then rumours about other contestants, don't want his female fans turning on the favourite now.

Of course they are and i know that the 'stories' are fictional,I take them all with a pinch of salt,I don't dislike Katie either,but it seems others are falling for the 'stories' hook,line and sinker,All these stories are fabricated to fill a newspaper column.

True and yet they allowed Danyl to be slated last year but it's ok because he was controversial and gave them the ratings/publicity etc that they wanted and in terms of voting he was up and down every week so he was a great use. Still he's bringing out an album soon:).

dont get me wrong i really liked last weeks performance,its just that i think his hit me baby one more time performance was better is all.

A lot of women might, there's a reason why good looking blokes in these competitions hide their girlfriends from the limelight as the female vote is all powerful and a girlfriend is a turn off.
