BB's Anthony beaten in city nightclub

BIG Brother winner Anthony Hutton was taken to hospital after he was beaten up at a Manchester nightspot.

Anthony, 24, was on a night out at the trendy Baby Grand in Peter Street when he was in a fight in the early hours yesterday.

It is understood that a brawl broke out after a man accused the reality television star of looking at his girlfriend.

Anthony was taken by paramedics to Manchester Royal Infirmary with cuts and bruises at around 4.15am. A police spokesman said officers had arrested a man on suspicion of assault. The man has since been released on bail pending further inquiries.

Anthony, from Consett in Co Durham, worked as a 70s-style dancer in a nightclub before he entered the Big Brother House.

He won £50,000 after coming out top in the Channel 4 show last summer. During his time in the house he became famous for making references to his love of the ladies and lack of domestic skills.

His friendship with clingy hairdresser Craig Coates and brief liaison with Zimbabwe-born Makosi Musambasi helped generate votes which kept him in while others were being voted out.

He recently released a keep fit DVD and finished a season in pantomime in Darlington.

I do hope he is alright, he was knocked unconsious, and has a swollen eye. He is going for an xray today to make sure his nose is alright. There are some nasty people about.

yeah me neither, would lie if i said i hadnt when ive been out and stuff. But i had a total reason too and she wel deserved it. But i would never hurt any1 like that tho, i dont like violence either, ive had gurly punchy fights but only ever 1

the first point was that whuever done it was guna get what was coming to him yeah and that anth was to get well soon
