Lads, Need Help. Recommend Some 360 or Wii Games?
 

Mum's asked me to hurry the ****** up and write a list of Games I want this year.

I was going to get Mafia 2 but it look's sh*t in the review, like a 2002 sort of GTA or something or Saints Row, and we all know Saints Row is a fail.


I'm getting The Sims 3 on Xbox, just because EA ******ed it all up in the PC version.

I'm getting The X Factor wii game for the lulz.

So that's 2 games.

I need more.

Any of the lads [or women] on here know any other new cool games out for Xbox or Wii atm?

Should I get COD: Modern Warfare just to try it again?

I'm not gettin' Black Ops because everyone's said it's bollocks and it's dear.

Just cause 2 is 9.99 on Zavvi online at the minute.. think it's still about £20 in the shops

its about this guy who wants to get revenge on this evil bastard for killing his sister when they were kids and he tried to kill him too because he had hero blood or something

its really funny too you can get married and have kids and even sleep with prostitues and shizz its epic :love:

plus you get to do making like slowing down time and bringing dead people back to life :love:

theres a game coming out next week called splatterhouse its supposed to be the most violent game ever imma get that :love:

Call of duty black ops is a must!
Honestly people who say its dry are most likely just crap at it.
Its a great game 2 polayer online is amazing to. - £36.97 in Asda

Fifa 11 is also quality if you like football.

And assasins creed Brotherhood is also a good one.

They are the 4 id reccomend ive got fifa 11, but im getting the other 3 for christmas myself.

I got AC2 last year and it was so weird, Like the controls and I HATE like CAN'T STAND the fact you can't turn a corner without being told it's unavailable and these silver lines all show up, it makes the game look glitchy and incomplete.

Is that still there in AC3?

Black Ops is by far the best COD so far
and saints row 2 is classssss
get dead rising 2 for xbox its great

theres a new AC coming out AC2 Brotherhood
its basically an expansion to AC2 so get that if you liked AC2 ..you will want to of finished 2 tho

You should buy Black Ops.

Modern Warfare 2 is a living nightmare online. There are noob tubers, shotgunners, quickscopers and a bunch of other a-holes who will kill you in every annoying way conceivable.

But in Black Ops, they removed quickscoping (google it if ya don't know what it is), shotgunning, and they have downplayed the noob tube a lot more as well as removing the nuke killstreak which ended a game. As an experienced Mw2 player, Black Ops is so worth the money compared to it, and a lot less frustrating than Modern Crapware 2.

Also in Black Ops you have Zombies (I love zombies :love:) to blow off steam and have fun as well as combat training, which is basically playing online but you're up against the game rather than real people. And you can set the Combat Training difficulty to recruit (easiest difficulty) and just own all the people on the other team - again another great way to blow off steam.

Orrrrr if you really don't wanna get CoD, then consider Fallout: New Vegas. Apart from Black Ops, that game is the sex. :lovedup:

You can like do that in Fallout but you have awesome plasma guns and lazer rifles and its not as cutesy as Fable. :p

Simon, that Fable sounded epic when you described it, it sounded like a new GTA but in the Youtube video it looks like some Super Mario game :laugh: I was like 'How does this guy go and see hookers?'

my brother has a playstation i sometimes use it but rarely. BUT THAT GAME IS AMAZING. he has it. seriously it is so good. i was so shocked as im not really into games but its SO SO SO GOOD. unlucky though :/ as ur missing out.

Left 4 Dead (and Left 4 Dead 2)

Are two of the best games to have been released on the 360. Don't get it if you don't have live though, you need live to get the most out of it.

I tend to hate games like Halo, Were it's robotic/sci fi kind of sh*t.

You know like all cartoonish and just unrealistic in terms of graphics.
Maybe it's because I spent ages with GTA Games and other games made by Rockstar who never attempt to make any games like Final Fantasy and Halo.

So these all seem abit weird, I just watched that Fall Out New Vegas one on Youtube.

It looks pretty cool, it's like is that a mix between 'Real' and 'Alien'?

Flight Simulator.

You can fly and everything. You can visit wherever you want. I normally crash when trying to land though or drive in the see. :(

I can't really recommend anything as I haven't played any videogames in months, but the next game I'll be getting for the 360 is Vanquish. It looks like quite a spectacle.


Edit: Oh sorry, you don't like sci-fi shooters. What about fighting games? Blazblue?

I'd get Fable I first, if you've never played that, it's a lot better than 2 and you should be able to get it really cheap because it was an original Xbox game but it's compatible with 360.

Depends what you're into, I'm a bit of an RPG nerd which is why I love Fable so much, so here's some others:

Star Wars KOTOR & KOTOR II (my two favourite games of all time, they'll be cheap as well)
Oblivion
Mass Effect 1 & 2
Dragon Age: Origins
Fallout 3
Sants Row 1 & 2 (more fun than GTA imo)

No, it doesnt I did it a few times, even married a hooker once. Although I was already married and some guy found out and tried to bribe me, I didnt pay him, and I lost my wives :bawling:
