I wanted to start a thread where we could talk about how much we all love Ben and talk about his finest points, without mention the name of a certain other forgettable housemate ;)

What do you like best about Ben? I like his dry wit, his charm, I love the way he treats women, his intelligent, his awkwardness. I want to put my arms around him and cuddle him to death. He's also very handsome :lovedup:

Blimey Vodka, if I have to list them all we will be here a fortnight, I just love all of him, he is incerdibly good looking for a start, not your usual run of the mill handsomeness, but rather striking, I have heard it said many times and witnessed hearing other guests on the radio say that Ben has a presence, people seem to feel drawn to his aura,all the ladies that meet him seem to be a little awstruck by his looks and charm.
I must say he is exactly the sort of man I would have been trying to pin down in my younger years. well thats a start, I shall continue with more later.:cat::dance:

He has such lovely blue eyes as well. They are so big and blue and pretty, and he's got very kissable lips. Oh and lets not forget the quiff that I want to run my hands though and mess up (preferably in the throws of passion ;):devil:)

He's got a lovely smile as well. I don't know why he always pulls the same serious face in every photo I've ever seen of him when he has such a lovely smile.

I do remember Jo the Cougar complimenting him on his long eyelashes.

I'm a sucker for smart & clever humour; someone who makes me laugh melts my heart and makes me smile more easily than good looks. The fact that he is rather handsome is just a bonus, never say no to eye candy. It's the wit that does it for me.

And he is kind ... and gentle ... as well as funny ... and handsome ... so that is a really good package ... he wouldn't be as busy and popular as he is (drat!) if he did not have a lot to offer ... he is liked by such disparate people because he has such a lot to give ... I have met no one else quite like him ... :blush:

Easy when the subject is Ben, such an inpiration.
He is very easy on the eye you must admit.But he has other qualities too, lets start with his voice........its heavenly, silky smooth, not too pitched. Perfect for radio, I can honestly see him with a late night show of his own, wonderful music from bygone days as well as people like Selena Jones and Holly Penfield, I can see him having late night chats with his guests, the sort of show you want to take a nightcap to bed, plump up the pillows and relax and lose yourself in his mellow tones.And he has such knowledge of his subjects too, he is interesting to listen to, I never want to move once he is on in case I miss anything
Ben is so articulate in his speech, you can understand every word he says, Ahhhhh, what a wonderful dreamy end to the day.:blush::blush::blush:

Definately agree - it was his wit, the delivery of it and the somewhat tonge in cheek humour that made me like Ben, together with his manners.... oh....and his voice. One of those voices that has a tone and accent that I particularly find easy on the ear and pleasurable to listen to.

I do love listening to Ben speak. His voice is just dreamy. Lying in bed hearing his voice late at night would be my idea of heaven ;):devil:

I love Ben as he made me laugh,has gorgeous eyes and yes his voice is very soothing,he is witty and fun,charming,erudite and would make a fab bessy mate or better still bed mate.lol

Ben is kind, funny, so thoughtful and witty. He made me laugh out so much during the show :joker:. I also like the way he treated women - very old fashioned and courteous.

The one thing that really stood out for me this year was he wasn't scared to be himself no matter what. He never changed to fit in. He was the only housemate who had the courage to be who he was warts and all. :dance:

I'm still missing what you think is lovely about Ben..... you know, the title of the thread.

For the life of me, I can't see you adding anything constructive to the thread or adding anything to it that actually has a remote connection to the title of the thread.

so, I'll ask you very clearly Laurac, re-read the first post on here, and then perhaps come back and offer a post on what you like about Ben. After all, that's precisely the nature of the thread.

Said it before,and I'll say it again. His humour. Loved it.

Ben has the full package; looks, charm, charisma, sense of humour, talent and sex appeal - it's no wonder really that he attracts so much jealousy and bitterness from those who have none of those attributes. But his best quality is his ability to rise above such petty spite and envy from others, and to just get on with his rich and fulfilling life. Try as they might the haters just end up looking like the sad losers they are:joker:

You are a woman of great taste ... you see clearly ... and you are gloriously articulate with it ... I like you ...

Ben is certainly absolutely all of the above ... and that is what is causing all these little problems ... we'll rise above this spite ... just as he does ...

Angus58, You've hit a little note with me here. That's something that does endear me to Ben - the simple fact that he gives not a jot about whether he has fans or not - not in the real sense. He went on a show to satisfy himself only - not to garner adoration from countless strangers across the UK.

He has not become involved some of the antics that the vast majority of other housemates have, he's gone back to his life, has taken what he wanted from the experience, has swept away the parts that mean nothing to him in the real world.

That's part of the reasoning I like him tbh. He didn't go on the show to win leagues of fans, that was never his agenda.

Big up to Ben for sticking to your principles.

Where do I start?

His humour, his looks, the fact that he doesn't think he's fab, he's so unassuming about everything, just everything about him makes me go all Voddy on people!
