Who did it best

In regards to the Live episodes done this year

Coronation Street or Eastenders

MissKittyFantastico 10-12-2010 08:20 PM

Corrie by a clear MILE

No muck ups, better acting and loads more happened.

No contest!

Novo 10-12-2010 08:20 PM

Corrie by far

Iceman 10-12-2010 08:21 PM

EE is my favourite but there is no comparison Corrie slaughtered them, the acting was spot on and the twists and turns.....

Jack_ 10-12-2010 08:21 PM

Coronation Street. Flawless episode and incredible acting.

Mystic Mock 10-12-2010 08:21 PM

eastenders easy.

Niamh. 10-12-2010 08:23 PM

Corrie, by miles, twice as long, five times the action, no mess ups.

Smithy 10-12-2010 08:23 PM

Although Im a massive Corrie fan, not being Bias, Corrie well out did EE the acting was incredible and noone fluffed anything

Mystic Mock 10-12-2010 08:24 PM

have people forgotten becky ****ing up at least ten times?

Stacey. 10-12-2010 08:24 PM

Gotta be honest, Coronation Street did.

I didn't actually notice that Eastenders made any slip-ups, although apparently they did make about three. But you could like feel they were performing live, but with Coronation Street it just seemed like a normal episode.

Novo 10-12-2010 08:25 PM

Eastenders should have used the live episode for something much bigger then Bradley's death.. Coronation street went all out and it worked for them

so corries normal episodes are a pile of **** then? ok got it.

on eastenders slip ups i only noticed one off scott from strictly.

Fetch The Bolt Cutters 10-12-2010 08:29 PM

corrie was better but with EE it was more like OMFG NO WAI

coz we didnt know who archies killer was and knew it would be revealed :L

Shaun 10-12-2010 08:30 PM

The drama in Coronation St's was a lot more real. With Eastenders it was like Bradley pirouetted off the Queen Vic.

Corrie wins by miles.

Jords 10-12-2010 08:33 PM

I thought we were voting which we preferred - EE because of the long awaited revealment and Bradley's death.

But in terms of acting and getting a lot in, yepp Corrie by loads.

You've obviously never watched an episode before, so get out and stop talking wank

and there was more slip ups than that!

What? D: No, I just mean it was done so well, you didn't even remember they were acting it live.

i have watched both because my mom watches them on big occassions, and i honestly only spotted one mistake off eastenders where i spotted ten fluffed lines off becky alone in corrie.

also how was corries brilliantly acted? it was just untranslateable shouting?:conf: that in my book is horrific acting.

Becky didn't fluff her lines.....

Scarlett. 10-12-2010 08:40 PM

Corrie, because there was a fricking flaming tram in it, not to mention a death :p

well the actress is just **** then because it seemed like she fluffed her lines to me.

Corrie

For me when I think of the Eastenders live episode, I did enjoy it, but I knew it was live all the way through. With Corrie last night, within a few minutes I forgot it was live and although there were times I had to tell myself it was live, the action and emotion coming from the screen totally blew me away.

She was hysterical, it's good acting, you might not be used to it depending on what you normally watch

Jords 10-12-2010 08:41 PM

I swear Dev fluffed his a bit in the hospital with Sinitta..

Anyway, fluffs just keep things real LOL.

Does Simon Cowell know that Sinitta was in Corrie

bbfan1991 10-12-2010 09:31 PM

Eastenders:).

flamingGalah! 10-12-2010 09:42 PM

Corrie definitely! EastEnders had so many mistakes, fluffed lines, dodgy cameras & sound & big pauses before each scene, Corrie was flawless & was on twice as long :D

dannyboy 11-12-2010 12:58 PM

To give them their due, both were very good. And both were better than the live episode corrie did 10 yrs ago. But for me, this time corrie did it far better. It was simply incredible.

Tom4784 11-12-2010 01:29 PM

I think it's unfair to compare really, Big disaster episodes are always going to be bigger and come off better then a normal episode so Corrie wins by default as Eastenders was just a reveal episode really.

Callum 11-12-2010 01:40 PM

Corrie for me but I was a little more excited for the EE's live episode

ronnie walking out of the shop without paying :joker:

Scarlett. 11-12-2010 02:53 PM

Corrie's had a death, birth, reveal and a wedding in one episode xD

CarlaConnor 11-12-2010 03:59 PM

Corrie easily!!! by Far!!! :D

Katherine Kelly did a fantastic job last night as did Chris Gascoyne!!!! But for me Alison King and Jane Danson stole the show!!! Brilliant acting by both!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
