Robbie came out on stage like he thought he was God, he is a bighead and a dick. Can't stand hos smug face, and when he performed with Take That he clearly thought it was all about him. Self Indulgent Cretin.

I'm the same as Christmas cake - I like Robbie. Always have done, I'm sure some think he's an arrogant sod, but he's got that certain charm and charisma.

I thought he was good with the young lads.

yeah can't be easy when you've always got such a lot of expectation on your shoulders.. he doesn't half look like he's off his head most of the time to me though

And in fairness, he did from a very young age - as he said last night - he knows exactly what these young guys are going through (mind you...I am not saying that OD are in any way, shape or form, anywhere close to being on par with Take That)

He's not arrogant he's actually extremely insecure. Everybody should know that by now. That's just a stage persona he puts on so he can cope with his chronic nerves.

He was a huge part of making TT. Something you should give him more credit for if you're a true fan.

And theyre more successful than ever with him back so I don't get the ruined bit. I saw them on Strictly(BBCiplayer) and they seemed to be getting on brilliantly joking around.

I disagree. Robbie was an integral part of Take That, always was, and always will be. If he wasn't, the other members wouldn't have agreed to let him form the full band again.

He initially agreed, then pulled out at the eleventh hour as he wasn't sure he was able to - confidence crisis or whatever. It took some time for the others to convince him that that it would be a good thing, and I understand they asked him to give it around 30 days of his time: see how he felt after that....... something along those lines anyway.

He tried it, and it was enough to try to have another go with the band. So I understand what what I've watched about it.

HUGE part? Oh did he write the songs? Oh no that was Gary. Was he the last member to get picked for the band? Oh yeah he was. Was he the most loved member of the band? No that was Mark. Did he sing? Since he's come back it's become the fecking Robbie show. Nearly every interview I've seen outside the UK hasn't had Jay and Howard in,in fecking Ireland it was just Robbie,Mark and Gary and that would never had happened if he wasn't there. His management is fecking everyone around. The fans are beyond pissed off at the minute,at the ticket changes and Howard and Jay being pushed to the back. He's not on,if he's meant to be in a band he should fecking act like he's meant to be in a band. He's there performing solo songs and acting like a solo artist,he's stealing all the limelight. And I hate it. I want to see the other 4.

As for success? The Circus actually sold faster and I'm sure even without Robbie that tour would have sold out in no time,Take That tours have been getting more and more popular as they go on. They played to 1.2 million last tour without any assistance from that twat. And the music was brilliant without him. They also got along brilliantly without him,it's one of the things I've always loved about Take That.

And I am a fecking true fan. I don't have to like every single thing they ever do,I have a mind of my own. I'm allowed to be annoyed and upset and pissed off. I liked Take That as a four,they were brilliant as a 4 and I miss that. I don't want the Robbie show,I want my 4.

so let me get this right here. You didn't like Take That when formed originally because of Robbie, and the years that they were together as the original bnd - but you loved them when he left? That's certainly how your post above reads.

That's what it sounds like, and if so, well I really don't think you can clss yourself as a true fan of the band as Robbie was part of the original set up. There seems to be a lot of bitterness in your words!

I wasn't a fan at all the first time around,I was like 5 when they broke up. I've ONLY been a fan of the four of them. And aye lot of bitterness,I'm a bit fed up at the minute,Robbie isn't helping.

Oh dear, somebodies cage has been rattled!

Robbies looks and personality were a huge part of Take thats success actually. He was the star of the group and he even did lead vocals. So its pretty ignorant to just dismiss him like you do. Howard and Jason get pushed into the background because they just don't have as much talent or charisma. Thats always been the case.

You're just biased. I like them all so I'm not biased at all.

So you weren't able to make any comparison to the original band as it was.... not a true fan from the band's conception then. Does sort of dilute opinion a little, given that there are many who were fans when they first formed, when Robbie left, and continue to support them now he is back.

I hate to be the bearer of the bad news, but none of them are yours, never mind 4 !!! heh heh!!:blush:

The point I'm trying to put across is that 'true' fans are the ones who have been there since the very start -as the band formed - they are in a better position to comment, as Take That were not formed as only having the 4 members that you grew up knowing the band to be.

I can understand your reasoning, but you have to also understand that your perception of Take That, was a reformed version of the band. It's understandable that you may not like 'someone else' joining - which again though, if you were a fan of the band, and such a big fan: you'd welcome the addition if the 4 members were happy with it. Surely?

the point you are not picking up on is: Take That was 5 members, with Robbie. I don't see how you can differentiate being a massive fan but state you dislike on of the band members. Surely any massive fan, takes the band as a band, and not as individuals?

But they never were my 5 for me,in the time I've liked them they've been a 4. Yeah they were a 5 but I wasn't a fan then. I don't see Robbie as a member,I see him as a solo artist cos that's what what he was when I became a Take That fan.

I'm so glad you decided to say that....!! I do understand where you are coming from, but I still maintain that if you were such a huge, obsessive fan, you would welcome a member into the band, as warming as the '4' band members are doing so. It's all about accepting what 'the band' want, that's sort of the angle I'm coming from.

Should,would and all that. Tried,didn't really manage it. It's just cos I'm in such a bad mood he's riled me up again. I'll never like him but hopefully I'll get used to him like I thought I had already. Old habits die hard and all that.

Sorry I'm laughing but it does seem that you are getting a wee bit bent out of shape over something you have no control over. I'm not mocking you, I'm only saying you can't do anything about it - best to accept it, enjoy Take That as the band and continue enjoying their music.
