Louis and Sinitta slate Cher

Louis and Sinitta were just interviewed on Sky News. When asked about Cher, Louis said:

"Now she's out, I don't mind saying she was my least favourite contestant from any series. She was unfriendly and ungrateful"

I was not a great fan of Cher, but am surprised at this

Supermum 12-12-2010 06:36 PM

I'm not surprised

KG. 12-12-2010 06:39 PM

Hate Louis but I like that he doesn't give a ****, seems to speak some sense too.

Shaun 12-12-2010 06:43 PM

which totally explains saving her over Paije...

either a) he's talking balls
or b) the show's fixed and he was told to save her.

Stacey. 12-12-2010 06:44 PM

:bored:

He saved her so he obviously doesn't hate her that much.

Zippy 12-12-2010 06:45 PM

He's a hypocrite and a spiteful old queen. He hates young females full stop.

Boys boys boys...thats his world.

Ramsay 12-12-2010 06:46 PM

nah he'd obviously of gotten his ass kicked if he saved paije over cher

Pyramid* 12-12-2010 07:24 PM

The show is over tonight - he can now say what he likes, and truthfully - he's had his paycheck - he's not gagged by Simon any more.

If he is being truthful, and I believe he would have no reason not to be at this stage of the game: it sums up what I've 'seen' in Cher since day one.

Louis could have voted for Paige because he went on about how much he liked hi he's got his own mind and also to spite Cheryl, it's obvious that Simon was planning to sign Cher up regardless of where she finished?.

From what i've seen I like Cher and there's no actual video proof of what she is like backstage apart from press stories or quotes, if you dislike her you will believe etc. Louis was all against nastiness last year when Jedward were being targetted:rolleyes:. I hear he said too that Cher didn't like the stylists telling her what to wear, good on her if she doesn't want to wear something she doesn't like or comfortable in.. he's obviously still bitter about Mary last week and of course there will be fix accusations but he won't care when Syco signs her up;).

Nobody cares about Louis or Sinitta and more importantly nobody gives a damn about Cher.

Are there still people who don't get this? Really? :nono:
Simon tells Louis what to do. Louis gets his paycheck, claps like an imbecile and gets the job done. To be fair, he doesn't seem to be bothered one way or the other so this comment by him on Sky News in an indication, I believe, of how truly unpleasant and ungrateful 'little miss needs to eat a bite' is. Sometimes, when the cover is particularly, rude, common and belligerent, you can read the book.

ButterflyGirl 12-12-2010 08:34 PM

She has let fame go to her head.

I'm going with B there, I think it's quite obvious that they're told what to do from the voting results, when they can and when they can't go to deadlock

Eh yeah that's why he was having an orgasm over Rebecca the last two weeks, point proven there Zippy.........not.

GiRTh 12-12-2010 11:04 PM

You cant really take Louis seriously given his track record but I can completely see why he disliked Cher. She'll end up starting beefs on twitter with people who dont like her and stumbling drunk out of nightclubs. She'll be in the Priory by the time she's 19. The next Kerry Katona.

Stacey. 12-12-2010 11:05 PM

And what exactly did Sinitta say? :/

Louis is the best judge and Sinitta is the highlight of X Factor

Louis and Sinitta will be the new Simon and Cheryl when them two disappear to America

yeah cause that makes sense him favouring Rebecca.....

Locke. 12-12-2010 11:55 PM

So Cher is eliminated, there are a couple of hours until the winner is announced, and alls Louis can talk about is Cher.

Point proven that she is the most interesting thing about this series.

Jords 12-12-2010 11:55 PM

Definitely b)

well he hates Matt over the Wagner drama. He see's OD as competition to JLS. So he only had Rebecca left to shake his pom poms for really.

Fetch The Bolt Cutters 12-12-2010 11:59 PM

i lol'd the other week when louis said rebecca was his favourite contestant ever and mary was stood there on the stage like um... k

:joker:

MeMyselfAndI 13-12-2010 07:12 AM

i think that one contestant was Wagner who was unhappy thomas.. as Wagner and Matt hated each other. Cher wanted matt to win so she was happy...

Shasown 13-12-2010 08:20 AM

Given that the judges comment on performances on stage, there is nothing wrong with Louis' comments, he could hardly have said "Look Cher that performance was wonderful, you deserve to be on the show, but you have to stop being such an ignorant, ungrateful twat offstage and develop a decent personality", without seriously prejudicing Cher's chances.

He made the personal comments about her after she had been removed from the competition. That actually says something about his professionalism unlike other judges such as Cheryl.

So you lap up Louis' negative comments on Sky News. The same Louis that praised Cher each week (that is until she was chosen over Mary) Then he slags her off. Hmmmm.

Will you lap up the positive comments by the voice coach? Probably not

ShezParmar @Savan_Kotecha so be honest, is Cher really a nightmare to work with?

In reply: Savan_Kotecha @ShezParmar no she's amazing to work with and a HUGE talent!

Louis is a bitter little queen. Always has been.

To be fair the OP says Louis was asked about Cher so how could he not mention her?

alc09 13-12-2010 04:47 PM

Well said Louis Walsh.

He 'owned' her the other night after her first performance, her face was a picture. :joker:

Z 13-12-2010 04:49 PM

He did the right thing, professionally, in not sharing his personal opinion of her on the show. To give it honestly after the show is finished is fair enough, he's only saying what many of us thought anyway.

Of course, there's also the Irish journalist who said on TV last week that he heard Cher telling Louis to "go ******* yourself" backstage last week. And him I completely believe. He was genuinely and convincingly gobsmacked by her behaviour, as was the female journalist on the same panel - from a different news organisation, who also witnessed a Cher diva strop backstage on the same night.
And about the TWIT (sic) from the twonk in the wigs - by the looks of it he's halfway to a P45 already, so he's hardly gonna p*** Simon off in response to some no mark TWITter-er, now is he?
And Louis is almost certainly an Old Queen, but bitter? Don't make me laugh. He's luxuriating in his X Factor paid-for luxury laughing his ass off at anyone thick enough to vote in this thing.

Jamietwo 13-12-2010 09:31 PM

hmmm i wonder if more stuff will come out about cher...it's not looking good ... if she gets on the crack like whitney houston did with that attitude and all that rap nonsense. loads of those rap types end up that way , look at the state of coolio on bb. coolio had one hit pop record and then stuck his bald head up his own anus for the next 20 years. i bet she goes out with one of those types at the first opportunity i'm 100% certain she'll make a bee line for one of those naughty solid crew boys that will be her ideal, she'll probably only manage to pull some has been dance hall rapper type...you wait and see.

So two journalists eh, wow that's convincing.
About as convincing as todays Daily Fail story.

Oh and Louis most definitely is a bitter old queen.
He proves it every year with his spiteful, bitchy outbursts.

Your little theory about the voice coach only saying nice things about Cher because his jobs at risk doesn't work. Wouldn't Louis job be at risk for going against Cowell by slagging Cher off?

How do you find the practice of sweeping generalistions works for you in debating terms so far? 'Journalists covers everything from Pulitzer Prize-winning war correspondents to tabloid scumbags, so unless you saw the segment, I don't think you know who or what they were.
Louis' laughing all the way to the bank. He doesn't give two flying *******s what anone on here thinks of him and his dead right.
It's not 'a little theory', it's an opinion. That man was the only vocal coach at the start of the season yet, lo and behold, a couple of weeks later, here's Evie back. Hmmm. He's not on the show a wet week and Louis has been getting away with speaking out of turn for years. There's no comparison.
