The Graham Norton Show

Episode 8.8 - Cher, Dawn French

Graham meets Hollywood superstar Cher and actress and comedian Dawn French, while The Script perform their new single, Nothing.

Jeez, Cher is an ugly parody of her former self, but she is still "Cher" ..... :worship:

DF is just not funny any more (and hasn't been for years) ..... :bored:

The Script - why hasn't "pop" music moved on since the '80's ..... :conf:

Kerry 18-12-2010 03:47 AM

I thought Dawn was great

'Conor 07-01-2011 10:36 PM

it was soooo funny tonight :joker:

With the red chair "HELLOOOO (squeaky voice)" (PULLS CHAIR RIGHT AWAY)

:joker:

Graham Norton > all other talk shows

Imelda May

'Conor 07-01-2011 10:36 PM

and the pirate guy was so funny :joker:

Kerry 07-01-2011 10:39 PM

Was a good show :D

'Conor 07-01-2011 10:39 PM

suprised that its not big on here? its unreal how funny Graham is :joker:

Way better than Chatty Man.

Marsh. 07-01-2011 10:40 PM

Graham Norton shows how boring Jonathan Ross was. They always have great guests on Graham's show but even when they're not so good it is still very entertaining.
Do they still do the extended show repeats? I know it's not on Sundays anymore.

I loved the line "People are always dying to come on the show". lol

'Conor 07-01-2011 10:41 PM

The guy who made this thread should update it.

Kerry 07-01-2011 10:43 PM

His giggle makes me laugh. Plus he's so quick witted

'Conor 07-01-2011 10:44 PM

yeah hes hilarious, the way he kept taking the piss out of that pirate guy in the red chair and he didnt know :joker:

well update like who is on it, you still have saying it was Cher & Dawn French which was a good few weeks ago, you should bump this thread everytime a new episode is on so people can discuss throughout the episode.

Why is it my responsibility ?

It's up to other FMs to keep a thread "hot" - if a threadstarter continually "bumps" his own thread he will be accused of being an obsessive ..... ;)

Such is life ..... :laugh2:

Marsh. 09-01-2011 01:32 AM

Well Omah, you're the only one who can update the thread considering you created it so you kind of made it your responsibility, lol.

Erm ..... I'm "the only one who can update the thread" ..... :conf:

How does that work on a forum then ?

Only threadstarters can update threads ?

What will prospective contributors do ?

Surely your assertion is logically incorrect and cannot perpetuate the dynamic of discussion ?

:conf:

Kerry 09-01-2011 02:37 AM

Maybe they mean the title :) Editing when it's on etc

Hardly worth it when virtually nobody (apart from your goodself ..... :wink) bothered to contribute to the thread .....

I can start the ball rolling but unless someone else gives it a push it'll come to a grinding halt ..... :spin2:

I meant the first post which gives information on the episode. Like in the soap threads when the thread starter updates the title.

Kerry 14-01-2011 09:38 PM

It is. I was surprised to see him. Mind you I guess he's 40's ??

Marsh. 14-01-2011 09:57 PM

I don't think he looks that old. It's the grey hair. Apparently he used to dye it in Friends. Shame about him not getting much work after the show ended. The others haven't exactly stayed huge but they've still been around working.

Who is this ginger woman? Annoying bint. She's talking like she's running for Prime Minister and gonna change the world. lol
