Marchlands - Starts 3rd of February, 9pm ITV1

Marchlands

Starts Thursday 3rd February, 9pm

Quote:

Alex Kingston (Hope Springs, ER) and Jodie Whittaker are among a host of stars in Marchlands, the first collaborative creation from ITV and Fox.

It's a gripping story of three different families living in the same house in the 1960s, 1980s and present day.

Watch a preview above

The families are linked by the spirit of a young girl – the 1960’s family’s daughter, who died in mysterious circumstances...

Marchlands also stars Dean Andrews (Ashes to Ashes, Life on Mars), Shelley Conn (Strike Back, Mistresses), Anne Reid (Ladies of Letters, Five Days), Elliot Cowan (The Fixer, Lost in Austen), Denis Lawson (Criminal Justice, The Passion), Jamie Thomas King (Mad Men, The Tudors) and Tessa Peake-Jones (Only Fools and Horses).

Looks good from the ads I've seen. Preview in the link

I like mini series as well, you don't have to wait as long for conclusions!

Kerry 03-02-2011 08:01 PM

ITV1+1 is 131 on Sky

arista 03-02-2011 08:05 PM

Also on ITV1HD

Marsh. 03-02-2011 08:07 PM

Looks good. The cast looks pretty decent aswell.
Hopefully it's nothing like Little House or that other one with David Jason which both ended terribly. But still it's something different to Taggart, Corrie and Midsomer Murders.

Kerry 03-02-2011 09:06 PM

Enjoyed that - interesting

Patrick 03-02-2011 09:10 PM

My nan was watching it, I found it dull :bored:
They mentioned some chick called Alice in every ******ing 3 scenes, It was like 'SHUT UP!' but I was so upset when the cat died :(

Kerry 03-02-2011 09:12 PM

The cat wasn't nice, no :(

Patrick 03-02-2011 10:12 PM

:(

Is it on tomorrow?

Beastie 03-02-2011 10:17 PM

Was good. It was a bit creepy but can't wait to see what happens next!
