They hate us.

Plus they're boring compared to us, too nice and as the OP said there's no excitement at all for BB12 where as here and everywhere else in the UK there's talk of it.

The way here we all know eachother and can have jokes and stuff together and we're pretty much, I'm not going to say Family because that's ******ing cheesy and stupid, but we either love eachother [not in that way] or hate eachother.

There are a few people here that post there too, and they are cool, so over there can't be that bad.

The general atmosphere here is better though.

Over there, I'm sure they're lovely people but they're pretty much..well that's all there is to them really from what I've seen and heard.

Although it was epic in Summer like in August when I had my 'Evict The 4 Bores' campaign and everyone from TiBB and DS kind of teamed up on Facebook and stuff aswell and helped eachother out.. but we failed, we only managed to get rid of Steve. hehe.

LOL We should do a 'Forum Exchange' were like 10 People from TiBB are forced over to DS and Vice Versa.

I could just imagine it, I would be banned in 4 minutes for calling someone a giant ******.

DS has an older (30 something) and more varied readership (not being a fan site) than TIBB so it's usership is (at times, refreshingly) more reserved plus everyone's being (rightly) realistic, this could still turn to nothing and if it doesn't it could turn out to be OK!-led rubbish, nothing wrong with being realistic, infact if that turns out to be the case, those who are will be the least pissed.

DS has 400,000 members and is the 4th largest forum in the world, TIBB, doesn't and isn't, it's bound to be more close-knit, though there is actually quite a community spirit on DS (if a bit cliquey at times) just a different one to the one here.

I disagree, I like both but the bickering and bitchiness on here can sometimes grate and make the place seem a tad immature and unwelcoming. I think, as you get older you'll appreciate the lack of that there (outside the showbiz section, which can be just as bad as here for that at times).

They really don't, on the very rare occasion I've seen this site so much as mentioned there, only one or two posters have expressed any opinion on it one way or the other (and then because of the criticisms I made above), fact is people are more likely to want to air their negative views than their positive and not everyone likes the same things.

And what is there to get excited about? Nothing's been confirmed yet. I think a lot of the difference in reaction to this between DS and here is down to age, the majority of people on TIBB have only been watching since series 6 or 7 or aren't old enough to remember enough of the early series to appreciate just how much the show changed (for the worse) over the years, the majority of people on DS (including myself) have been watching since the webcams first went live in July 2000 and have had to put up with seeing the show they've been watching for a decade have every last penny squeezed from it by £ndemol over the last 5 or 6 years then left to fade into oblivion, with age and experience comes weariness and skepticism.

They're really not, infact some of the anti-housemate bile on DS can make the anti-contestant bile on TIBB seem quite tame (getting really rather personal and not in a jest way). It can be even worse towards producers, Phil Edgar Jones was planning to post hints and tidbits there (ignorning initial warnings about how brutal some there can be) throughout the last series but was hounded off by mid-way point and wrote a rather flouncy post in a strop, unable to handle it, for which he was also ridiculed.

Digital Spy is sh*t, controlled by Hitler like Mods who make up their own rules as they go along & some extremely weird & over obsessed members who take you having an opinion that differs to their own as an act of war... It has some of the most mentally ill people I have ever seen on any forum too...

The with DS 'community wise' is people mainly stick to their sections. Like the JJJ lot are all having a massive party in Bristol this weekend which John and Josie are actually going to[/jealous] but that's one thread in one section in a section in a section in another section on the forum. The place is huge.

Everyone jumped on me when all those Bennites joined and I called them Psychotic DS rejects. I knew I was right :bored:

The rules are quite strict but remember DS is an international media company who's site is read by millions including those in the industry, they can and will get sued for even the slightest sniff of libel or defamation (forum owners are legally responsible for what their users post). All of the additional rules (not getting personal about contestants and presenters, not using txt speak, etc) that other sites don't have are made quite clear in the TOS guidelines though which you really should read before posting.

Yup. The site was around before and will be around long after Big Brother. DSBB while the site's most popular section while the show's on air, is just a small part of a much larger site (posted on by everyone from lawyers, to ex-housemates to astronomers to Lord Alan Sugar).

BUT... Mods let others get away with the same things that others are banned for... They also do not reply to any messages sent to query any bannings... They also allowed one member to make homophobic posts & refused to remove them or ban the member in question because they said it was their right as their religion was unaccepting of homosexuals, I was however banned when I said that their religion was disgusting ,as they also advocated the stoning to death of women who cheat on their husbands!!... It is a sh*t forum with sh*t Mods...

They don't actually, some of the site's most respected members have been banned several times, there's no favourtism. It's probably just that DS's moderation team is so large that their judgments of what's acceptable and what's not vary.

Rightly, their decision is final and not up for discussion, it's their site. Complaining about it won't help your case.

Again, DS is a very large website, owned by a large publishing company and read by millions, they're more likely to be sued than TIBB or the like are, there's no law against holding controversial religious views, there is a law against inciting religious hatred.

(Also being against / condeming of homosexuality, as *******ed up as it is, is not the same as being homophobic, i.e. having an intense and irrational hatred or fear of homosexuals)

The alleged "creative director", pej, as he styles himself is a conceited and incompetent fool who likes to voice his opinion but who cannot stand criticism - DS members like myself, who called him out for what he was, were suddely subject for DS "discipline", in my case a permanent ban on a techicality for something I did 5 years ago .....

Well I have seen evidence that there is favouritism & that they turn a blind eye... And surely all Mods should know what is/isn't acceptable?? They are not doing their jobs properly if they themselves deem what is/isn't fit...

And why is it "rightly" that they will not correspond with queries?! When as you have admitted some Mods have different rules to others?! Ridiculous.

And saying a religion was barbaric & cruel for condoning the death of homosexuals & adulterous women is hardly inciting religious hatred is it! So again why should I have been banned for saying that??? :conf:

And some of the comments which were not removed were VERY homophobic, not simply someone saying it is against their religion, they just used that as an excuse for their views... So again that is bo**ocks...

I tried to register with Digital Spy back in July and then they tried to charge me because I used a hotmail adress :bored:

So I looked for another BB forum and found this place, I'm glad I did now

I tried to sign up with DS, but I realised it was ****, so I came here.
