Banned vs user banned?
 

Is there a difference between them or what?

I keep seeing them both used but can't work out any difference. Im not gagging to know just always been a bit curious.

I think one is a straight ban and the other is a build up of infractions, I might be wrong though.

but Ive seen Banned used for just one day bans. Which is why I was confused.

When you're banned you basically loose all connection with the forum if I recall correctly.

I haven't been properly Banned since about August, I remember because I was pissed as James because he extended the Ban and stuff for no reason.

Nope. But he's one of those that likes to push it with the mods for some reason. Just makes sense you don't argue with mods lol

I don't think theres a difference. I've seen both wether banned for a week/day or full stop

Example - banned under Setanta (perma banned)

Banned under Lostalex (told to shut up for a day)

Banned is outright ban(any period). User banned is for infraction ban.

well I was until I posted Scotts dick. Which actually wasnt even an explicit picture and I regret taking the 3 points graciously now!

others have posted full male nudes and not received any points(and yes I do know that for a fact).

Ugh no idea whats what. When I was banned it was a straight kick out (9 points) from Mark for insulting him. It said banned underneath my name but I could still send/receive PM's and my avatar remained

Was is true that Sxxxt was perm banned before and still he was allowed to come back with another user name?

User Banned is when an infraction pushed him/her over to a ban

Also you can receive PM's and vistor messages when you're banned, you just can't reply to either :s

Scott was banned literally years ago. Plus hed already been back a while before anyone realised who he was...proving that he had changed.

I'm sure I replied to PM's when I was straight out banned. Infact yes, I did. People PM'ed me asking why and I replied to them :conf:
